This Guy was based on Nectocaris pteryx, an extinct species from the early to mid Cambrian found in the Burgess Shale, Emu Bay Shale, and Chenjiang Biota quarries.
    Check it out:
    Nectocaris - Wikipedia

Anyway, this a Cybertronian version of that guy :)
BTW, need a name for him...Actually Scratch that, As HeavyNova christened him Dragline.
Thanks everyone for the support and help!

Holy WOW! Squeezeplay comes to mind, but it is already taken. What about cuddles? He just looks like a hugger to me.

Here are some names (with definitions) I've put together that may suit this guy:
    • Angler: one who fishes with a pole or rod and reel
    • Backlash: Tangled fishing line on a bait casting fishing reel. Tangled fishing line is also referred to as a bird’s nest.
    • Clutch: the drag system on a reel
    • Hooklength (Hook-link): a hook attached to a length of line, usually of lower breaking strain.

    Thanks!

    Thanks mate.

Yeah...I never liked that fig, so he was always going to be fodder...lol

    Thanks bro!

I like your names...Angler may work...along your line of thinking maybe Trawler, or Dragger...but I think you are on the right track. Was feeling something along the lines of Drowning or pulling downward...snaring. etc...

    thanks mate. :)

The name "Dragline" seems to fit the motif perfectly, even though the word is based on land-based construction vehicles. "Dredge" would work nicely, too :)

The rotf Soundwave head fits the 07 arcee mold nicely as well as the shoulders, biceps fit the 07 arcee forearm socket, then just cut the motorcycle stuff off and you have a speeder bike or another prehistoric sea creature ;)
