From Kuala Lumpur to Houston

    Hello dear TF fella, my name is Alberto, I am a long time TF (and toys) collector.
    I am italian but I have been living in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) for some years. There I joined TransMY the biggest TF community, made a lot of friends and my collection became bigger and bigger.
    Every good thing comes to an end, its time for me to leave Asia, and move to the next place that my Company wants me to be in: Houston!
    I will be in Texas for the next couple of years (at least this is the plan right now), I am writing here to see if there is any TF collector in Houston to ask help to. I've been there couple of times and I must say, Malaysia has much more TF in stores, I've been is some TRUs... no Masterpiece, few items in general, still have to check all the flea markets, and I am looking forward to do that asap.
    I hope that my thread is in the correct section, if not my apologies.

    Yeah, my family has lived in Houston for many years now and collectables may trickle in here and there but you will find yourself an online shopper by and large for just about everything. You'll miss Asia for your toy collecting habits. Haha:)  Especially at the prices they'll be in the USA.

    It'll be a bit more of a downgrade since Hasbro is putting a lot more focus on the asian markets over america these days.

    Thank you for your kind replies. I will miss Asia for sure, not only for TR, Malaysia is just a great place to live, I will try to join that group and see what I found. Meanwhile I will start to look for a good online shop to keep my up my "collecting habits", I just love the local retail shops here in Klang valley, and I am quite new to online shopping :)
