Well at least their branching away from every event being something that Walter had researched 30 years prior.

Still, Dunham is about as interesting as dishwater. Peter is better, but not quite there yet.

That's good to know. I really liked the pilot and I want to like this show so bad, having loved other Abrams shows like Alias and Lost. I know there will be big payoffs if I stick with the show, but so far it just hasn't been doing it for me aside from the chemistry between Walter and his son. Hopefully it will improve soon, I'm still a few eps behind in my viewing as it is anyway.

Oh man, effortlessly. Walter is the best character I've seen in a TV show in years.

It was cancelled here, which annoys me greatly. I was enjoying the show. We didn't even get a message it was cancelled, was just a newspaper article earlier this week (about a month or so after the show vanished) saying it was a victim of australian networks dropping shows if they don't rate immediately... like, on the first episode.

it's almost part of the television culture here.

Yeah. Also, is it me, or is she getting homelier with each episode?

It's been standard procedure for Fox USA for years.

Sheeze. FOX is already starting to cut this in other countries? What is wrong with them? Anyway, this show rocks! It get's better and better with every episode. The "Venus Heart-trap" was really cool. Walter is awesome and the actor playing him is amazing. All the acting is superb and I really hope FOX doesn't be stupid and cancel it.

    Anyone still watching this?

It's getting much more interesting; at the point it's one of my favorite programs.

I'm watching. It definitely has improved since the start, and I know the producers have made a conscious effort to make the show more accessible to new viewers without making it as intricate as LOST's plot. My only problem with the last three episodes is that it has not mentioned The Pattern, which I'd like to know more about.

I'm still watching. I'm still really enjoying it too. And I still think Walter is brilliant.

I haven't seen the bald headed guy the last few eps. He was showing up on a semi regular basis before.

This has quickly become one of my favorite shows of all time. The way the characters interact with each other is nothing short of brilliant. Walter by far makes that show what it is.

The bald guy was in last night's ep. The paper vendor bumped into him as he was failing over. It was a very brief shot, as most of his appearances are, and he was wearing a hat.

I didn't notice him. I'll have to watch it again.

Just a side note: How messed up would it be for your skin to be covering all your orafices?

Was the last 10 seconds of the show last night supposed to signify that walter wrote that book! (Or maybe someone else who had access to his lab back in the day - the creator of Massive Dynamics... - who we have still never seen!)

Great Episode last night. They always have the good episodes before a long break :)

I was thinking that too. Did the messed up "Y" on the typewriter signify that the book was written by the typewriter and possibly by Walter?

I'm not too sure the Walter wrote the book. He seemed to read it as though the book was new to him. He probably knows who did write it though.

This last episode was absolutely the best yet. And very reminiscent of Alias. If you like this last episode you need to watch Alias.

Walter also mentioned that the teleportation device was didn't kill the person traveling, but something worse. Wonder what that is.
