I was just wondering what anyone thought of the Perfect Effect Frenzy and Rumble set. Is it worth the money. I read that some people were disappointed with the paint app.
im holding out in hopes that the generations line gives us more cassettes (hopefully this wont bite me in the but and the price of them doesn't skyrocket)
At $35 for a 2" figure (with a bunch of accessories, mind you), they're not exactly what you'd call the most bang for your buck. But I'm quite happy with mine, and they seem to be pretty sturdy little figures. They look great with Cybertron Soundwave.
If you have the money to spend, they are good little figures. The detail on these guys is amazing for their size.
Yeah I'm thinking they should make legends class Frenzy and Rumble. I don't care what they transform into tho as long as the bot modes look good.
I dig mine. Have had them for a few months. Watch out when you snap the gun barrels over the shoulders when transforming. I've got some big ole stress marks on my blue one now.
I realize WfC Soundwave isn't out at retail yet, but by any chance might anyone have or be able to take a picture of him with these guys? (I never liked Cyb Soundwave.)
Expensive, but I'm a massive fan of the pose-ability of such little figures, plus there alt mode make a perfect companion for my Classics Soundwave customs.
I like mine. Hard to say if they are worth the price. I paid $56 shipped from fellow board member. They are great little figures with awesome detail. My main concern was if I did not get them now the price may skyrocket if I wanted them later. Glad to have them though.
I'm going to pile on, they aren't BAD toys, but they sure aren't great, and the fact that they have a stupid alt mode doesn't help. I mean, you can preorder so many good things for that much money now, there is no way I could justify spending money on frenzy/rumble if I hadn't already done it.
I've always thought that they look brilliant in their robot modes, but as they don't transform into cassettes (regardless of whether they would fit into Soundwave or not), I lost all interest. I've got the Encore set, and I'm very happy with these
I think they're great I have no issues with mine. I'd love for Has/Tak to come out with their own versions and the don't have to be cassettes.
I picked them up and I love them. Great updates/unique takes on the Frenzy & Rumble characters. The poseability gives them the attitude F&R deserve.
