    Never Heard of this show before....so it's a Mazinger series then....pretty neat that it's popular in France and French Canada.

    Too bad it doesn't appear to have an english dub.

    Goldorak was huge in France and French-speaking nations. It's basically what Mazinger Z is for the Spanish, Voltes V for Philipino and Fist of the North Star for Italians.

    ...so I'm not really surprised that people from the English-language nations haven't heard of it. However, it was shown in the US as part of Jim Terry's Force Five as "Grandizer".

    And to be honest, I think Goldorak was more popular in Quebec than Transformers have ever been.
