http://www.matadorrecords.com/mpeg/dstroy/roll_out.mp3 The song is called "Roll Out" by D-Stroy. Enjoy. Honestly, there are TF audio clips in the song, they mention transforming, Soundwave, Megatron, (as well as Hulk Hogan and wife slapping) etc at several points during the song... and it even sounds like they sampled some of the G1 background music (or something that sounds a lot like the style) so its neat... but I dont really know what the song is about. Is anyone familiar with it? I am glad the world is full of all different types of music but this is one genre that is very touch and go for me. Some of it I can stand, some of it just doesn't do it for me. This song is more an example of the latter... but its worth a listen IMO.
Very nice hook/beat. OK flow but he needs to tone it down a bit. Lyrics are meh, but not bad overall.
How'd you find the new opening sequence song for the movie?!? That is cool! Annoying, atypical sounding rap song, but cool you found it. Now we must destroy you.
EDIT: On second thought, I'll be nice. ...although I remember another hip-hop TF thread boiling out of control lately.
I remember a lot better song out for Marvel and DC comic characters called Melted Vinyl by Furthermore. It was TEN time better then this, and had a cool rift to it. Plus, the leader "singer" can actually rap.
"Who gives a fuck where you from" by 3 6 Mafia produced by Kay Slay? samples and loops the scene transition music from g1 if you dont like rap find the instrumental I think it sounds pretty badass either way.
