So, what do you guys think of the show? IMHO, it's the best show of the 90s, and early 2000s. My favorite episodes are, "Travels with Martin", "Frasier Crane's day off", and whichever episode Maris kills her boyfriend, just to name a few.

I wish that this show was on Blu-Ray. If they can put Friends on Blu-Ray, they should put this one on it too.

Don't get me wrong, Friends is cool too, but IMO, Frasier is the better show. It was witty, funny, and full of great characters.

    Never watched Cheers though.

I'll have to take your word on it. Thankfully it re-runs.

I adored its smart and sophisticated humor, as it was nice change from your average sitcoms. Plus the characters were all outstanding, and Kelsey Grammer always stole the spotlight (in a good way) whenever he was on screen. Hell, I would say that this is my favorite sitcom that I personally have ever watched, with Cheers being a CLOSE second.

'Frasier' Revival With Kelsey Grammer Set at Paramount Plus - Variety

The “Frasier” revival has officially been ordered at Paramount Plus.

Original series star Kelsey Grammer will return in the title role in addition to executive producing. Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli will serve as writers and executive producers, with Grammnet Productions’ Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon also executive producing. The series will be produced by CBS Studios in association with Grammnet Productions, exclusively for Paramount+.

“Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world,” said Grammer. “I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.”

“’Frasier’ is one of the most acclaimed comedies in modern television history and truly defines premium storytelling,” said David Stapf, president of CBS Studios. “There has long been a call from fans for its return, and that call is now answered thanks to the amazing Kelsey Grammer reprising his iconic role of Dr. Frasier Crane and a brilliant creative plan from Joe, Chris and Kelsey. We can’t wait to reveal its next chapter on Paramount +.”

It was just ok. I was never a big fan of it. I would prefer people create new content instead of rehashing original shows or movies.

Funny because I was watching Cheers last night and in the episode Frasier said both his parents were dead. Plot hole much? This was about 3 years before Frasier premiered.

    My sentiments exactly.

On top of that, during a rewatch when I was taking a year off of college due to mental health reasons. There were numerous episodes where Frasier's advice actually helped.

I feel like Fraiser absolutely would lie about his dad being dead in certain situations. It certainly would have been funny if that had come back to haunt him.

It did. They explained away that continuity issue in one of the Frasier episodes with a Cheers guest star. Think it was the one with Ted Danson.

Its been a long time since I've watched the show so I don't recall a lot of it other than the one episode where Niles subconciously tries to injure the dad so Daphne doesn't leave, the Roshambo episode, the radio murder episode, and the one involving Fraiser not wanting to do a commercial spot involving peanut snacks.

EDIT: Almost forgot, the episode about Niles and the 'S' bank. God that was funny.
