I found this extremely interesting and well thought out video about Megan Fox's character, it's such a great analysis. I strongly reccomend that you watch the entire video because the person who uploaded covers a lots of issues.

    :lolol

Yeah.. I'll pass. Why do people continue to give this cat-lady in the making attention? She's just another pseudo intellectual that looks at all media through the ideological lens to which she subscribes, the only people who will find value and meaning in her insight are those who already think like she does, which means she's just preaching to the choir.

She did major in film... In my opinion her videos give an insightful look into many different aspects of the Transformers live action movies. I don't emphasize with her hatred of Sam Witwicky's character, but I think her analyses in general are presented reasonably and discussed logically.

He was well known for his looks, yes.

I also don't rule out the cute comment because she IS pretty, and it's humorous that an off base feminist is being objectified by another woman.

I've never gotten that at all from her videos. Everyone views media though their own ideological lens, none of it exists in a bubble. To me her videos don't seem to be pushing an agenda. In this video she's simply explaining how the Transformers films fit into this preexisting theory. She's not pushing for feminism. It's no different than analyzing the cinematography or something.

I find a lot of value in her videos, and I don't necessarily think like she does. She seems to be a more "woke" person than I am (if you'll pardon the expression). I'm sure I'd disagree with her on a lot of things, but I watch her videos to hear her talk about movies. And she does that very well. Among the best on YouTube, in my opinion. She's gone to film school and she knows what she's talking about.

And the same is true of all YouTubers. I don't like a lot of what Doug Walker has done, but I enjoy watching his reviews. I disagree with RedLetterMedia on things, but I love their content. Heck, I like watching music videos made by a flat-earther, and I certainly don't agree with his worldview. You don't have to agree with someone 100% to enjoy their content.

The point about Fox’s character being closer to a traditional protagonist is interesting with the release of Bumblebee since I thought the movie felt like what if Mikaela found Bee instead of Sam.
