During the latest Q&A session with Hasbro, JediInsider asked which new SWTF sculpts we'll be seeing this year. According to Hasbro, there will be four new sculpts this fall, including General Grievous/Grievous Starfighter and TIE Pilot/TIE Bomber.

Only four? What happened to "18" SWTFs (I think it's that number, or around that) in 2008?

part of me hopes one of the other ones is Luke's landspeeder, and part of me doesn't since I have a sketch of a landspeeder TF only a few pen strokes away from the scanner.

Four NEW MOLDS. Then probably 14 repaints. :p

EDIT: Not to sound like a broken record, but when I first heard about the SWTF, I really wanted to like them. But they really should have been aimed at both groups of fans, not just SW vehicles that turn into SW character robots. I understand the SW saga has a LOT more fans, but man...

Oh hell yes! If the figure is any good then I'll definitely buy him! I wasn't too impressed with the wheels bike Grievous, but I may buy him to go with the Starfighter.

Oh man heres to hoping the TIE bomber turns out better than Vader's TIE advanced SWTF. The Grevious Starfighter is blocky, so theres a chance we will get a bulked up Grevious this time around.

-OR- a Grievous with his cape on! Which would enable them to give him a better overall look, and possibly 4 arms if they can fit them in by making the cape fold around him to form the outer part/overall shape of the Starfighter.

Oh how I'd love to see that!

I'm half-guessing that with the AT-TE being released in the figure and LEGO lines this year, there may be an AT-TE planned for this line also.

I dunno about anyone else.. but I have been seriously reconsidering even keeping my star wars TF's. I'm an adult collector but 2 of mine broke.. I thought they were poorly made. Maybe just my opinion, but I'm not terribly excited about more of these guys coming out. Also because a part of me really itches about there being TF's around that I don't have.. and also because they are 20.00 as opposed to 15.00 like deluxes should be.

The thing with the SWTF line, is that the Alt.Modes almost always outclass the robot modes, given a few exeptions (Clone Commander Cody, DeathStar Darth Vader...and thats about it.)
It will be interesting to see if these four new molds prove me wrong...

I'm simply amazed this line has managed to survive as long as it has. Then again, I hear SW fans are used to seeing and buying crap.
