If anyone managed to get last years friggin insanely excellent Xetheus minotaur figure, then you know how much detail Four Horsemen put into their little pet line of figures.

    Heres the next one.

    HOLY FUGGIN CRAP!

Looks good but for once, I would prefer if they could give us some "new" human figures like barbarians, elves etc. I'm dying to get my hands on the soon to be released ToyBiz's Conan figure.

Damn, that is a sweet fig. :thumb

Um...MOTU = Masters of the Universe. As in "He-Man and the ____"

They had a short-lived comeback a while ago in 2002 with new sculpts/toys designed by the 4H. Much better than their 80's counterparts (some have argued the same holds for TF, but I digress).

Go here to find out more about the re-launch toys.

Well I only collect TF's (and not every line), so I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know the acronym for every toy line.

I dare say that puts McFarlane's sculpts to shame.

BTW. What ever happened to their MOTU lineup?

    Poor sales did them in?

My guess is that they didn't have a cartoon show to help promote the new line, and sales were poor as a result.

    Well, now you know. :D

There WAS a cartoon. At the time it was up against Armada, and as a cartoon, it was the better of the two.

What did the toyline is was Mattels insistence on releasing a variant He-man/Skeletor every single wave, and short packing other characters to make room. Toy shelfs with flooded with dozens of 'Ice Armor He-mans' and 'Stealth Armor Skeletors' while your Buzz Offs, Teelas, Mermen and so on were nigh impossible to get.

yeah, they totally screwed up MOTU...it could still be going strong, even without a show....i need to buy all those statues still, but i havent had my MOTU displayed in almost 2 years, possibly longer, so maybe ill never get them....
