For the love of God put it back.

That is the biggest annoyance in the world of supposed better forum software........

Also why does everything come across as huge and annoying?

Change everything back! Ok the "like" function is cool but everything else sucks pretty bad. Hopefully it's a w.i.p.

That icon, at the top and bottom of each page, is the equivalent of the old "Quick Jump" menu.

I see the icon, I hereby declare the icon stupid. Why is everything on the screen take three times as many clicks as it used to?

Old way I hit the arrow and there it was, no stupid loading icon either

Going to a forum takes at least one more click.

Quoting? Pretty epic fail at this point. I believe at current count it is two more actions than it used to be prior.

Color scheme is horrendous(worked on old format, but I believe it was darker there) and is hurtful to the eyes because everything is oh so huge and in your face. Try finding the slider bar on the right side of the screen.........

You went from a Cadillac with the last refresh(after kinks were worked out) to the equivalent of a Geo here going by actual user interface and the increased click count which is just bad forum(bad pun intended).

I'm being nice and giving my honest opinion, this is one of my favorite sites on the web and I want it to remain popular.

Going to add remove all the trophy crap now as well.

It will lead to nothing but post/point whoring and it is annoying as hell.

Not too mention its another thing that explodes on your screen when you click on it.

Facebook and websites should not be intertwined, makes for crap from either angle

I see some things slowly popping back up, that is appreciated.

Please address some of the other concerns I listed.

Thanks as I imagine you are busy as hell right now.

It took 15 seconds after I touched that icon for the jump menu to come up.

I ran tests on older iPads and iphones before launch, was functional. Will check again now.

To be fair other times it was faster. Not sure why it's sometimes slower.

Just checked an iPad air with 9.3.5 installed, which i think is same as what you're running. Did not get any of that lag you were talking about. A bit on front page, which Im getting on PC desktop too, but not on forums.

    Adding this to the list.

Why does clicking on a thread take me to the first page? No where does that.................

Is it the first time you've viewed the thread in question? I'm not having any trouble with clicking on the threads and going to the 'first unread post' for me.... those with new posts will have the blue dot to the left of the open check box... that is your 'view first unread' to click.

One thing that might help is the Mark Forum Read on those forums you visit and want to see new posts... I did that earlier and it made going back to GD, TFGD threads pop up and view as they did in the old system.

To just go to the last post... click the time it was posted the right hand side of the screen.

Are we going to get back the forum jump at the bottom of the screen?

It makes the site annoying as hell to use since you either scroll to the top and hit forums/boards or go to the bottom and hit the symbol thing.

Its a waste of time since doing either takes the same amount of time because they are now added steps..............

No, the drop-down forum jump will not be returning. That icon pop up is the method that's default to system, and way we are rolling. Anything could change later, but there are no plans ATM.

Also the preferred method of the system, which we are rolling with. Thread titles shoot to unread. Clicking time takes you to first post. Hovering over title shows #s, allows you to jump specifically, and last post column allows jumps to last post.

It still blows and the other way was superior and less moves involved.

So backwards from 99% of the other forums out there.......
