Heavy/Scratch: Forge of Solus Prime

    Hi guys.
    It's been a while. Not so long ago I got myself an MP Ultra Magnus(ko). Great figure, could use some tweaks, bit on the big side, but that's not why we are here. In the Transformers: Prime series Magnus wields a magnificent hammer... the Forge of Solus Prime. Think it's time for the G1 version deserves one as well.

    I've finished the handle. Used styrene from Evergreen, great product.

    My favourite part. Really happy how this turned out.

    20210116_233046.jpg For the styrene tubes I used a "pipe cutter", very handy tool. Also used it for the panel lines. It always gives you a straight line.

    20210116_233114.jpg Because of Magnus' HUGE forearms he can only hold the Forge in a certain way. So for the pommel I used a magnet. This way he can still hold the end of the handle.

    And... that is what I've got for this moment. The hammer it self will be a lot more work, more thinking. Hope you all like what you see. Stay safe and more to come.....
