Goodbye Rogers, hellooooo... Nah, he's here to... Yup, we've finally got to the actual thingamabob of the story. And the twist is... this is actually a Kamen Rider photocomic. Oh sure, there's gonna be more Transformers and COBRA. But also Kamen Rider, and MASK, and MASK Riders.
Oh, I wouldn't say it was all THAT random. This issue was structured like a Kamen Rider pilot episode. So someone turning out to be a Rider out of left field isn't out of the ordinary. But I admit, I cheated in one MAJOR aspect, and that's the naming/title of the series, which didn't hint at that. There are several reasons for that. COBRA and Transformers are definitely the two main players of this shindig, M.A.S.K. and Riders are ultimately, subdivisions of COBRA. The Transformers will also be more or less true to the characters, except rather than giant alien robots, they're kaijin. Issue #2 will go into more exposition on the histories and origins of stuff, but like your typical Kamen Rider ep, I'll work in a fight somehow. Alas, I'm occupied for the coming weekend, so hopefully I'll still have time to finish Issue #2 before Issue #1 runs its course. Hope you TF/Toku hybrid guys will like what's in store.
Oh man, that was unexpected.... But who knew!? I mean, when you think of COBRA, you think of bad guys!
Well, guys like Smart Brain and the organizations in Kiva (WWW, Wonderful Blue etc) for instance, ain't exactly good either. They still developed Rider Systems. As for whether COBRA is good or evil, y'know, I never really thought that through. I roughly know which characters will be good or evil or misunderstood though.
