I saw it this weekend in the discount bin so I said What the hell.

People have asked about it here and no one has really reviewed it (IGN skipped it completely).

That said, it sux as much as the next gen ones, but it's also good from the standpoint that I was more forgiving to it as a PS2 game. And for a PS2 game it definitely holds up and is very playable. Surprisingly, the character models and Transformations are very nice, and the framerate holds up. Hell, even the damage and destruction is all there.

It's still crap compared to the Armada game, but it's a good little discount game, but with the PS3 and 360 versions down to 26 bucks used, I would only bother if you only have a PS2. It is definitely playable, and as enjoyable as the bigger versions, and you tend to forgive it its shortcomings because it still looks very nice for a PS2 game but doesn't try to be more than it is. I found myself playing it more this weekend than I did the PS3 version.

Out of sheer curiosity. Does it support progressive scan?

So, is that like a recommendation?
To me, that is like saying "I found myself playing it more this weekend than cutting myself." LOL
