The negativity is worse than I thought it would be, but this time, it's mostly the critics than the fans unlike ROTF that was hated by fans and critics. What are the best Things about this movie I and people who haven't seen it should look forward to?

good thread idea. tired of people calling critics "haters" but not giving their point of view on why the movie is good.

When a Critic compare Bay to Warhol, that critic is not a hater but a idiot :) .

Haven't seen the movie, so i cant answer to the op.
But no matter how bad reviews it get's i will see it.

I don't think you grasped the context of that reviewer's statement on Warhol. Or perhaps you did, but the true context of the statement wouldn't support your need to call the OVERWHELMING LANDSLIDE of negative reviews that this latest heap of shit is getting the work of a bunch of "idiots".

Also, your statement of "no matter how bad reviews it get's i will see it", is so telling of the overall jaded zombie effect these.......

    fuck it. Enjoy your flick.

I'm not going to list everything I enjoyed but the soundtrack really stood out. Particularly when Optimus scanned the new truck and started to upgrade just as the music changed tempo.

Great thread. This next week is gonna be filled with bashers and haters of the movie.

But I honestly really enjoyed it. Almost more than the rest. They seemed to take out the parts I did not like about the past 3 so I was happy. And nothing I saw seemed to disappoint, of course id like certain parts to go a little further but they did a decent job. Thumbs up from

Well lets see... Cade Yeager is a great human protagonist. The film actually has a message. The robots are the ones doing the fighting. The robots have a lot of screen time. The roots have character. Hound

Hound, Lockdown. Galvatron being voiced by Frank Welker. 3D in IMAX was amazing! A lot of Robot fight scenes. I'm sure most Transformer fans will love this film.

I loved that it took the magic of the first, the FUN of the second and the darker tone of the third movie and SOMEHOW combined them.

I feel the BEST part of AOE was Optimus Prime's story arc. SPOILERS! Just saying.

In the beginning of the movie, Optimus is in a seriously dark place. The humans that he risked his life to protect, the people that he cherished most (other than the Autobots) turned on him and attempted to murder him. He has lost faith in humanity, yet still does not kill any of them (When he shoots at the CIA agents, he shoots at their feet, not directly at them). But everything he trusted, the potential good of humanity, has been flipped on its head. Yet he meets a friend in Cade Yeager. They have alot in common: Their worlds have been spun out of control, and they both want to protect their family. Although it doesn't restore his complete faith in humanity, Cade's act of kindness in helping repair Optimus is one that Prime finds surprising. Throughout the film, Optimus slowly begins to see hope for humanity in this family. He's still extremely angry at the humans and wants to leave, but he finds the family an exception to his general antagonistic view of the human race. He is slowly coming out of the darkness. It's a gradual character development... FOR AN AUTOBOT.

Plus I LOVED his evasion mode. That transformation was ugly and broken (because he was damaged), but it looked sooooo cool.

So best part of the movie is DEFINITELY Optimus Prime and his story. And overall, the further development and screen time of the bots was what made this movie way better than it could have been.

The Transformers characters, without question. Everyone got a ton of screentime and dialogue and honest-to-God character interaction, and it was so glorious. Even Bumblebee was a ton of fun to watch, which really surprised me.

    Also, when Optimus totally
    killed Kelsey Grammer
    , the first time
    Galvatron
spoke, the Dinobots having their crazy knight designs
and being the Knights of Cybertron, I guess
, and Stanley Tucci's character in general.

The fact that the entire movie is one of the biggest clusterfucks in the history of cinema really is a positive, too. I feel like this movie has actually transcended such notions as "good" or "bad" and has achieved multiple dimensions of reality. It really has to be seen to be believed.

Your reply is reflective of everything that is wrong with the fandom. Seriously? It's a Transformer movie. Your a fan, probably will watch it 3 times and yet you still call it a piece of shit? What would you want instead? Transformers doing Shakespeare? Give me a brake dude.

Hound and Lockdown both had great characterization and great lines. Frank Welker playing Galvatron was perfect. Better robots. Better humans. Action easier to follow. Just...everything.
