I was shopping today for some ROTF figs when i noticed that they had 2 different versions of Ironhide, i didn't pick him up but for those that like their boxes here are a couple of pics:.
As you can see the missile in one version is in the gun and in the other it's being held by one fo those twistys from hell.
No biggie just thought i point this out to the guys that collect MISB or like their unique version of different packaging.
    Take care guys.

Thanks, i thought more people would be interested in this but I guess there aren't that many MISB collectors here.
I wonder how many there actually are here in the boards.

Kinda surprises me how few TF collectors care about variants & stuff compared to other hobbies. I'm not into variants myself but I know when I was collecting Joes for a while variants & packaging errors commanded top dollar even on the new stuff, with TFs it's almost the opposite. *shrug* weird

People did at one time until the Dreaded Armada series. I can't remember if it was rhinox or bendy prime that had like 8 packaging / deco variants in like a few months. I think that caused every variant chaser to throw in the towel and none have tried since

Movie 1 Blackout had a running change in his mold and never even heard anyone pipe up about it. I only noticed it when I got the Evac repaint.

FYI (for those that care): it's in the blade spacing, originally they were all evenly spaced, later there was a deliberate gap so that you knew where to "fold" the blades down at.

After I noticed it on my Evac, I went back and checked out the other Blackouts at the store & they ALL had this change. My Blackout was from the initial wave that he was released in, it kinda adds value to me but I know that if I were to sell it nobody would give a crap.

You mean the triangle in place of one of the "rivets" wasn't enough?

apparently not, it does make the blades look better when you "fold" them back but throws the balance off in alt mode
