Yeah, they supposedly lowered the fees. Anyway, Starscream in blackface? Really, now. ::shakes head slowly:::
They lowered the initial listing fees by like, 5 cents, and they now charge over 3.25% more from the final auction value. So while I'd save a nickel listing it, I'd like pay an extra $3-4 bucks in ebay fees when it sells. As for the blackface, I'm assuming there's an implied smiley there, since he's clearly unpainted, and not intentionally "controversal."

Well, technically they did, but just the listing fees (by 20-25 cents, not just the nickel I mentioned), but then they did some hardcore raising of the final value fees though. It's supposed to encourage people to sell more, since there's less cost or penalty to list an item that doesn't sell, but if it DOES sell, say goodbye to all of those savings and more. It's like enticing you in with a handjob, and then surprising you in the end with a dildo in the bum. Granted, they certainly aren't using the biggest dildo they could find, but it's still something you'd find uncomfortable. Also, to get back from *that* bit of imagery, Starscream is on hold until further notice. Edit: And once again in a bit of ironic timing, no sooner had I posted that than I got a PM from the buyer saying he wasn't going to take it after all. So, make yer offers!!
very nice man...that line cracked me up...and i see how it encourages sellers to list without as much worry, but man..i just looked at ebays fees....8.25 percent up to 25 bucks, then another 3.5 percent from any total above 25...thats just horrible...ugh...i guess i'll just lower my prices here, it'll still get me more then stupid ebay after fee's...
Yeah, those Final Value Fee increases seem to be getting missed in all of the feedback issues. And speaking of lowered prices, Proto Starscream now has an asking price of $94 shipped in the US!!!
