Well not much to this question...we're in the last half of summer here in the US and we've been firing up the grill every warm weekend we've had...getting ready to throw some brats and ribs on actually in a few...just thought l'd ask you guys in GD what yourr favorite food to grill out and chill out with the family is...so what's your favorite food to toss on the grill? Recipe sharing or tips are welcome...:)

Good medium rare burger with cheese. Or, as they say in Europe, a Royale with cheese.

    Cat, live preferably.

I kid, I kid-in all honesty my (4) cats would probably cook me on the grill first.....(spoiled rotten frackers, lol...)

Zucchini, oddly enough. Brined and marinated with olive oil, spice, and shoyu. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy me some meats but grilled zucchini slices are so darn good.

    Salmon.

Bread it, then drizzle honey and brown sugar on it, then grill it. Tastes amazing but it sure is a job to clean up.

Delicious Afghan chicken kabob with white rice. You WILL feel full man.

But hey, if I see my old man grilling a kickass burger with some cheddar, I won't be declining it :p

If I had some wild game (venison, elk, bear, turkey...) it would be that. Since I don't, it would have to be the basics: ribs, chicken, brats....

Honestly? My big grilling thing this summer has been Grilled Okra. You brine it for an hour or two, take it out and let it dry for a bit, baste it (I just use olive oil, salt, and lemon juice, pepper would probably be good too), skewer it, and throw it on the grill.
