Maybe I missed something, but can someone explain this? I thought at first it was the wave number but both Grimlock and Soundwave are the same series number. Maybe FOC is series 1 and maybe later in 2013 we'll see more "traditional" classics?
Generations - Fall Of Cybertron - Series 01 #001 - Soundwave #002 - Soundblaster #003 - Grimlock #004 - Blaster and Steeljaw Basically, they leave the series number in case sometime down the line they may come out with another series with in the Generations - Fall Of Cybertron - Line. Anything that comes out for Fall Of Cybertron SHOULD technically stay in the Series 01 that is until they stop putting out FOC figures... once they stop, if they bring the line back it will be Series 02. If they started this when Generations started it should look like this: (my personal view) Generations 1.0 - Mini-Cons - Series 01 - (2010-2011) Generations 1.0 - Deluxe - Series 01 - (2010-2011) Generations 1.0 - WFC Deluxe - Series 01 (2010-2011) (This was combined with deluxe for some reason, it looks like) Generations 2.0 - GDO Deluxe - Series 02 - (2012) Generations 2.0 - GDO Scouts - Series 01 (2012) Generations 2.0 - GDO Voyagers - Series 01 - (2012) Generations 2.0 - Leaders - Series 01 - (2012) Generations 3.0 - FOC Legends - Series 01 - (2012) Generations 3.0 - FOC Deluxe - Series 01 - (2012) Generations 3.0 - FOC Voyagers - Series 01 - (2012)
Maybe we are reading too much into this but if there's any chance we get a Voyager Megs or (holds breath) a non-tiny FOC Prime this could be a very good sign.
I would think that it's the first series of the voyagers, starting in "2013" as that was their projected intended release. Maybe wave 4+ of the deluxes will be series 2, as the first 3 waves were released this year (or within the "projected factory" release of this year). Time will tell, I suppose.
We ought to at least get voyagers of Optiimus aand Megatron. Prime was designed by High Moon to be imposing and bulky. Megatron also is substantially different from wfc.
