As you can see... Vortex has a very close resemblance to his G1 look from the cartoons.

 

When I first saw the bot-mode design for him, I honestly didn't recognize him. Wasn't till I saw the alt-mode that I made the connection (granted I was tired that day).

He looks pretty cool, and I like the idea of using his copter form as an attack-mode, and having him fold away the rotors and use his propulsion engines for when he wants to travel fast.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the team looks, and how they look combined.

 

A Cybertronian combiner makes me very happy in very happy places. I love Cybertronian modes!

He also looks like he's wearing a dress.

 

Ever since I saw Animated Megatron, I wanted to play a Chopper Transformer. Vortex is my answer. I can't wait.

That would be AWESOME! He was my favorite character from the orig movie...

 

I doubt that we'd be getting an actual class for chopper alt-modes that is seperate from the jets. Appearances are different, but they'll probably play the same. An Autobot chopper as a counterpart to Vortex would be nice, though. Preferably Whirl over Springer, as I know more about the latter than the former.

 

I really like him for some reason.
