Soundwave/SoundBlaster is a solid figure but the memory sticks are horrible.

I still may pick up Blaster next year but the idea of picking up this out of scale figure seems less and less feasible especially when you line him up with the other WFC/FOC figures. Grimlock being the only Voyager exception.

 

I want these.

I'm glad they're finally releasing the repaints in the same wave. It works when it makes sense ( these two, Sideswipe/Red Alert, Seekers, Datsuns, ect)

I won't hold my breath for the cassetticons as they look bunk. Mad bunk.

 

huh? laserbeak and buzzsaw have eyes. their the triangles on the sides of their heads. the lens is just that.

No surprise that this 'beat' a classics soundwave.
A redone tape player and actual cassettes won't sell here... So hasbro found a way to release a version of him and other troublesome characters as cybertron mode toys. That includes dinosaurs and ray guns, which won't pass laws here. Thinking about it 3/4 of the line are oddball misfit characters. Kudos that they found some way to give us those characters.

 

There's laws in Arkansas against dinosaurs?

 

If I didn't already have WFC Soundwave, I'd be all over it.

He looks pretty good, but I can definitely pass on him!  

 

Is he about the same size as G1 Soundwave or slightly bigger?

 

I gotta wonder if Megatron will be a Voyager figure. We've already seen a ton of deluxe figures.

I also hope we get another Optimus Prime in the Voyager-Class size, especially if Megatron is to be a Voyager-Class figure. The current FOC Optimus Prime figure is just too small and doesn't even transform properly. His wheels are on his arms and not on his back like they should be. Looking at all the different FOC figures, I feel Prime deserves another go in a larger scale.

And if Hasbro feels they must, a smaller deluxe or scout class BumbleBee and Cliffjumper (with that new head) wouldn't seem so bad if they were released at the very tail end of the FOC figure line (so they don't clog up shelf space). Might as well repaint Starscream into Skywarp and Thundercracker while they're at it.

I'll be picking up Soundblaster regardless, but Soundwave is a pass simply because I have the deluxe.

 

Machine Wars! It just came to me that Machine Wars Basic redecos were first released in the same wave, right? There must be other post G1 examples, though.

 

Pass, we need a Voyager FOC Megatron and Prime, not another Soundwave. What is Hasbro thinking?

Amen Brother! I just can't bring myself to ever buy the current deluxe Prime. He's too small, too simplified, and far off the mark.

Yeah...I know. At least We're getting a repaint of Grimlock as Energon Doomlock! Hooray Dinosaurs!
