Question for those like me who have the mold. Sideswipes back piece has two seemingly clips but they don't do anything. In the instructions it looks like they should clip onto something. Has anyone found a way to secure the back with those clips?
I had the same issue. Thought I was going to break him at one point. It totally looks like it should help lock the torso in place.
Got mine tonight, and I had the same question. Didn't mess with it too much I didn't want to break it.
I haven't but I just fiddled his back a little and did something that I hadn't done before which seems to make them connect at least a little closer with the back section. Here are some pics, hopefully they help. I did it with all 3 in the pic, none of them are lined up with the tracks on the inside of the chest, which I think this may be how they were meant to be transformed, but try getting the torso horizontal.
Took a couple more shots, excuse the head swap in one of the pics, I was testing the waters with the change in the torso. Prowl, in front of Jazz is the only one transformed with the front of the torso on the tracks in the chest and you can see there is quite a bit more space there between the neck area and the torso which is not the case with the Sidewipe, Jazz and Neek bodies.
Yeah it's been known for a while that you could do that. People, including myself, have carved new notches to hold it there. Still doesn't help lock Sideswipe together though.
They don't clip to anything, but if you fold the back up enough, they fit over some rails on his back.
