for those interested, this is how i was able to make an armor set for the dimunitive foc prime.
all that's basically required is a junker ironman xover(hummer)and a junker starwars xover tie fighter vader and whatever small odds and sods you have.
the glue i used for this is loctite 495,a pretty decent glue i found when you can't run a screw through something.
this is kind of what we're shooting for again.
dissassemble the arms on the ironman.
the top one is the first version to show you what you keep or throw away.(this is all just the left ironman arm for now)
this is all you need from his arm.
take this chunk and cut along the black permanent marker line, then sand the cut edges on both the piece and the small offcut.when you cut,try not to warp the offcut out of shape too much as it needs to be reused.
(i only used a pair of side cutters and a emery board)

take this chunk and cut the screw posts where it's been blacked out by marker.the elbow one is the only one where it's better to cut/sand slowly and keep test fitting it into the stock holes in foc primes forearms.
top view showing how the end result should have the elbow post still sticking out a bit further than the flap on the side.
this is what you should now have.reassemble the tiny cutoff chunk, fist and forearm, taking care to only glue where the marker is,trying not to get any where his fist rotates.

the left armor chunk should now look like this, the fist should be able to swivel and the window flap should still be able to fold around.

on this chunk, cut out the area that's been black markered.
for the long area ,try to make it as flush to the back as possible.

this should be the end result.

plug the earlier made forearm chunk onto prime's left arm hole.sand down the inside corner of your cut into the flap and keep test fitting as you go.this piece is now essentially the top of his forearm armor.

the end result should look like this.

repeat and mirror what you did so far onto the left ironman forearm and you should now have him looking like this.

    foot and shoulder armor

this is basically all you need of the vader tie fighter.
completely dissassemble his mid section.keep in mind that inside his crotch there's a flat post that needs to be snapped because it was glued at the factory.

completely dissassemble whatever's left of his arms and legs.in the pic,the left limbs are dissassembled while the rights are still together.

on the black vader elbow pieces, remove the single screw and get rid of the small flap that comes off.

so from the vader fig, this is what you want to have now salvaged.
you can get rid of or dump all of this into your fodder bin.

on the black elbow chunks, cut out and sand the areas that are drawn in with red.once finished, you now have the connector that plugs into the bottom of prime's feet.keep note that they do become side specific.

now turn these chunks into even smaller chunks by dissassembling.

take one of the vader should halves and cut the back screw post flush with the back side.[IMG]

glue the chunk to the top front of the relinquished vader thighs.the thighs now become his feet pads.

glue vaders toes to the front of this chunk, becoming the armors toes
    [IMG]

after plugging the black vader elbow into primes feet, this is somewhat where you want it later on.in order to attach this chunk to the foot pad, you'll require any fodder chunk that's 1/4" thick and somewhat flat.i ended up finding a k/o undersized set of killbison arms worked.(last time it was a shaved down k/o armada bendy prime leg half.)

feet and shoulder and chest armor continued

on the back sides of the remaining stock vader shoulder halves,i ended up finding flat chunks that i glued in onto the stock posts.anything that's 1/16" thick will work here as long as it's flat.this is what allows the shoulder pad armor to simply plug into primes slit holes on the sides of his shoulders.

this is what your bot should now somewhat look like.

for his chest armor,i used a butchered classics prowl hood, the sidestep flaps from the ironman arms and 2 lego chunks.as long as you leave the 2 screw hole posts the length they are, screw the two lego chunks into the ends and it actually clips right onto prime nice and tight.
the top part of it that's black is the under side of prowl's front bumper.

clip that on and your bot should now somewhat look like this.from here on in it's up to you to take it your own direction.

Nice... amazing that after all of this, he still doesn't look out of proportion compared to the small version!

This is great! I hope you finish the tutorial soon, because I'm definitely going to follow along (starting in the morning). I only have a junker Vader (with the only one piece broken, and thankfully not used in this tutorial), so I can only do the feet, but really, all I want is for my Prime to have some extra height. It definitely would make a nice FoC Ultra Magnus armour set, though.
