So, I bought a G2 FOC Bruticus (henceforth referred to as Dudicus) not too long ago, and I like him. Trouble is, I'm having an issue.

When I first got him, I noticed that Onslaught's robot head didn't quite come out all the way. I thought this was simply how the robot mode was supposed to be, but I recently discovered that it's actually supposed to reveal ALL the way.

When I try to push the Dudicus head in all the way, I feel resistance, like I'm not supposed to do that. I really, really don't want to break the figure, so I must ask, is there a workaround for this, or should I just grit my teeth and try to force it?

well, there are two little tabs to the left and right (slightly diagonal) of where his head sits. just be careful but still use some force. really what you're dealing with are just some stubborn tabs

    hope this helps

Never mind guys, I ended up getting it to work.

EDIT: I posted this at the EXACT same second as the above poster. Thanks, I forced it and it went. Looks much better.

Onslaught's head is irrelevant. Dudicus should forever be in combined mode. Get the retail version for the individual modes.

Oh yeah, I had the same problem. I knew Onslaught's head was supposed to come up just a bit more. That first time it makes a snapping and crunching sound when going into place...yeah. Pants Crap Central.

I felt scared as shit to do it to my SDCC version, but it ended up working in the end so it's okay. I wish it wasn't so...scary to do it in the first place.
