Once again I have a new pickup form the local comic shop. Cheetor may be one of those Transformers that doesn't really transform, just gets down on all fours (a posture-former?)...but damn if he isn't really cool. The sculpt is just out there. Crazy skinny legs that jut up in weird directions. A huge chest with a skinny waist. Two very cat-like heads. Very cool all-around. Anyway, I've decided to start taking much smaller photo galleries. My process has become way too complicated, and it just takes too long. Hopefully this will let me get more toys done. Most likely I'll start doing two small galleries at one time. If I just focus on the strength of the toys and cut out boring photos from multiple angles, it might speed things along. Here's Cheetor: http://www.fluffypotato.com/transformers/BMCheetor/BMCheetor.htm
Thanks. You know, I'm just getting into the Beast Machines toys. I always hear that the Maximals suck and the Vehicons (how are Vehicons any different than Decepticons by the way?) are awesome. Well... So far I'm loving the Maximals! I don't get the hate most people have.
Had to take another lookie Yep, think it's time to finally get this guy. Been holding off with Supreme Cheetor, but he's so damn big the waaayyy out of scaleness is funny.
I disabled the spring gimmick in his arm and I like him a lot better now. I keep him condensed at a more reasonable height without the leg and torso extensions. He's a really nice figure, so long as you don't care about show accuracy. Which, when it comes to BM, I don't.
Great photos, incredibly lackluster (except for that chrome) toy. Night Slash Cheetor's the bestest BM Cheetor to me. Biggest problem with ALL BM Cheetor toys (NS the least so) was the super-tall design with the spindly legs, which made for a really high center of gravity, and a near-total inability to stand stably. Hard to believe a toy with so many ratcheted joints like Supreme Cheetor could drop so easily.
BM Mega Cheetor is one of my fav TF molds, one badass looking cat and the robot mode is so alien looking, not your typical looking humanoid robot. That's what I liked about BM is the uniqueness of the designs.
That is an awesome shoot Cheebs, he's really not a bad toy once you get around to playing with him, you can actually get him in some pretty cool poses if your patent enough (he is hard to stand), just wish he came with a better weapon. Defiantly underrated, like most of the line if you ask me, glad your doing a lot of these BM toys, that Primal one you did was great as well Great poses too man your shoots are truly spectacular
Thanks for the comments guys. That's not a bad idea. Can you get both of his shoulder tips to point the same direction with the spring gone?
