Merritt Island TRU has two classics Jetfires. Look like they opened a case with Ops. Two each.
Goldents wife totally pwns him!
I know....I know
I went to see the 9:30am DLP showing. I was going to swing by Target but saw that there was a line and the box office hadn't opened. So parked and got in it. Needless to say, the theater was PACKED. Kids of all ages (Even though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 5 purely on the Scorponok thing in the desert (What the tail did).
Anywho BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!! 2nd place goes to Live Free or Die Hard and 3rd goes to FF2.
After that, I went over to Target and had one of those Native American single tear moments. I go to the toys section and I see a mom (Not bad looking and I'm married) and her little girl (I'd say between 8-10) BUYING A PRIME FOR HERSELF!!! They were looking for a Scout or Deluxe class for $10. Without coming across as creepy, I showed them the Leader Prime and told them about Robovision Prime. I ran out the store like a little B--- after seeing that. I've never seen a girl buying one for herself.
I guess my wife was right. It just might blow Spiderman 3 out of the water.
The Walmart on Fletcher in Tampa had all 8 Wave 2 Hasbro Marvel Legends. This was yesterday, and I didn't buy any so they might still be there.
Nothing new in Oviedo. Megatron is all over the place now, just not prolifically.
Oh, and I thought that the movie was pretty damn good.
Question about the movie.
Were there 2 or 3 Decepticons that survived? I know 2 for sure but there a was a 3rd that you saw on the freeway, but I don't rememeber getting "off'd" in the final battle scenes. (I'm trying to say this without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet).
Last question. How can one be a hardcore TF fan, but refuse to watch the movie because they feel it has ruined the entire franchise? I know someone that feels this way.
Actually, according to Hasbro, only one survives. Evidently one dies under sand, and you see crime catcher on the barge at the end.
I read that the writers stated that they cut his death at the last because they decided at the last minute that they wanted him to survive.
Crime catcher or sand dude?
Must have been C.C. because S.D. got a clean get away unless the tail incident ended that.
So, besides onesock, anyone coming to my event tomorrow?
Bought the last prequal comic at Target in Trinity.
Has anyone seen the 'early releases' that some WMs are supposed to get? I can confirm that they're not at the 2 WMs in S. Lakeland or at Dale Mabry. I can also confirm that Chipotle is still delicious.
Finally has a real day off for the first time in...about a month.
hey what early realeases are you talking about?
Supposedly, many Walmarts are putting out new TF figures early before the old stock even sell out as kind of a marketing thing to get people to buy TFs for Christmas gifts. I have not seen any of these displays yet either. It was on the front page last week.
Saw the Titanium two pack (optimus and megatron) at the TRU near Countryside Mall yesterday. They had about 7 or 8 when I left.
No luck with the Wal-Marts in my area as far as the "early Christmas" thing is concerned.
I was at Party City in Waterford looking for some Gators party stuff (Friend's B-Day and he's a Seminoles fan). They have this TF end cap section that has The All Spark Cube. You know those ones that show different characters but when you flip them back it becomes a cube? It was $4, so if you wanted to get a prop for your movie figures, make a run to your local Party City.
They also had this cool mini flashlight that when turned on shows the Autobot insignia. I think that was $5.
Casselberry WM - all the school supplies except the pencil bags... six different folders, two different binders, three different composition notebooks, and three different spiral notebooks
Goldenrod Kmart - some new party supplies I don't think we've seen before, a ton of new bags (incuding ones featuring Barricade and Bumblebee) plus all the old ones - a whole endcap full of stuff; also a separate display of the Allspark candy cube
Goldenrod Target - the 3-piece serving set and the chess set
Fashion Square TRU - the Prime & Bumblebee backpacks, four different lunchbags, some new kids tshirts and slippers
B&N on Bumby - 2008 18-month calendar and the new movie guide
Our God has returned. WELCOME BACK!
Will there be a pop quiz in tomorrow's class?
