Theres a Diaclone police dude i don’t remember his name at West palm Walmart on Belvedere and 441. All the other deluxes were there except Cosmos. Also 4 Scourge.
Also when I went a couple days ago, before they were put out, it said there were 16 in the system. But I only saw what seemed like one case of the other figures. So either they still have another case in back or they were all cosmos and someone made off with 9 which is kinda annoying.
I’m pretty sure their system doesn’t differentiate. When an employee scanned a Clampdown UPC for me, it showed like 16.
Ahh, their system counts every figure in the case the same in their inventory because that’s how they come in the shipping box. Every velocitron deluxe falls under the same number so they all show up the same, same with regular lines. Sorry man :/
I'll be doing another scouting tomorrow as I was not able to get out today. Hasbro just needs to send out a split case of Cosmos and Clampdown to every Walmart, short packing especially a full on new mold is so silly.
i know that lol what I’m saying is if there were 16 then I would have seen 4 road rockets and the other deluxes that come 2packed and 2 clampdowns. But I saw 2 road rockets, 1 clampdown and 2 of each of the others. Unless someone bought the entire case of shelf warmers,!which idk why they would, I assume that one of the 8 packs was one of the the 8-Cosmos packs we’ve been hearing about. That or they only stocked one of the boxes so far and there might still be a fresh box in the back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Either way was just trying to help but thats all the legwork I’m doing. Interestingly enough the Boynton Beach Walmart has only 7 in the system but hasn’t stocked them so I assume an employee there either collects, scalps, or has a deal with someone to get them wanted figures first because I’ve been checking there everyday since I live close by.
I’ve managed to get all the velocitrons minus hauler, which is funny as he was the first one spotted.
Thanks for the tip! There was one Motormaster left when I got there this afternoon. (He came home with me.) For anyone still looking for the 4-pack with Goldbug they had a bunch of those there too. Still looking for Cosmos. I want to believe.
I see Walmart.com now charges an extra $7 fee if your order is under $35 even if store pickup now. And they’ll still cancel or replace it with bath salts. Long story short Clearwater super Walmart doesn’t even have the stuff anyway even though it says in stock. ( velocitron and gold label Az bats). Garden section has shrink wrapped pallets that will probably be put on shelves sometime in 2034 haha. Not worth digging around it. also the az bats was a online purchase that changed to store delivery I made last week. Just find it more funny that Walmart has found new ways to scalp themselves.
Sigh. Went to the WM on 17-92 in Sanford yesterday morning. They were starting the unboxing/reset, and scanned the shelf tag for me - 2 cases in the back. Yay! No idea when they are coming out & they are not going back to look for me. Boo! (But I understand.) My wife & I take turns checking a couple more times during day/night, the voyagers and Scourge go out but no deluxes. I had to go into the office today, so I checked this morning before work - nothing, and no one stocking. The employee in the area didn't think they were stocking today at all. I leave work early and stop by on the way home... both cases unpacked and stocked... both Cosmos and one Clampdown gone, everything else there. This was the only WM close enough for me to keep checking, and hadn't already sold out. So, I got my Clampdown, but I guess I wasn't meant to get Cosmos Oh well, just keep saying "it's just a toy, it's just a toy" Lol
Just had a weird experience at the Walmart in Lake Park lol they let me go look at the pallettes myself to find it after I showed them i have a picture of the main box assortment its in. They literally let me go to the pallette and grab Cosmos out of it. That was the only one I needed to help a friend but aside from that I am done searching really. The two locations that still rung up as 8 deluxes in stock when they scanned it are the one in west palm on north Congress. Lake Park also has a clampdown but youll have to go near the pallettes, because I didn’t stock them lol but super nice staff so as long as you ask and are polite im sure they’d let you look.
SR7/Atlantic Blvd + Turtle Run Walmarts both missing Velocitron, save for 3x Hauler at the first Walmart.
I finally acquired cosmos today at 3501 34th St St Pete because a really nice employee said they would hold one for me if they found the case. they also had 3x Roadrockets 3x Burnouts 1x Blurr 1x Scourge as for the Walmart on 201 34th St they had 2x Overrides 2x Road Haulers 1x Burnout
And lo, as the search for Cosmos seems to be at a bitter end, mighty Primus says "I will light your darkest hour". Or, My wife went back to the Sanford WM this morning for grocery shopping, stopped by the toy aisle again, sent a picture saying "is this what you've been looking for?", and now I own Cosmos. Doesn't make any sense, as they should be gone, but my wife is pretty amazing at finding stuff like that.
Checked out the Lutz / County Line Rd. Target (nada) and the Wesley Chapel one that is directly east of there (nada). The Walmart north of the first Target moved the toy section to the back, and there is nearly nothing on the shelf, save 2 old galvatrons. No boxes around with TFs... why do I keep going here???
