Bastard! Didn't even know it was out over here yet, but would of been very happy to run across it.

 

Okay, now I'm pissed. I've been looking for that set but haven't been to that tru in a few days

 

I just got my Jetfire and iMO he's not worth the $50+. some of the chrome was flaking before I even took him out of the package. he's hardly got any paint. his articulation is pretty pathetic for a modern Transformer. the worst part is how cheap he feels. since he's mostly hollow, there's no heft at all to the figure.

AND

the damned thing is missing a piece! it is missing the small black piece under the nosecone so he cant hold his main gun in jet mode.

 

Unfortunately these scalpers never learn. Whoever did that is probably splitting up these sets and selling the figures individually.

 

Too bad they didn't make a voyager western star Prime. It could have been a true evoultion then.

Found at TRU in Town Center: Leader Jetfire, Legends Cliffjumper and Nemesis, Evo Prime Set. There is one Jetfire left.

 

Finally a jetfire sighting. Hope he makes his way south soon.

 

Me and a buddy got the two Leader Jetfires from Sanford TRU. Altamonte TRU had a shelf tag up for him but none on the shelf. Both also had the Evo Prime set.

Done in a couple hours. Turned out great.

 

Any chance of before/after pics? I just want to get an idea of how the red plastic under the chrome looks.....

 

The vault at universal has the new park exclusive kre-o set. it's only $11.95. comes with prime, megatron, bee, and evac from the ride. they also have a bunch of slogs and airdrifts for $49 LOL

 

Well, no before pics...but we know what that looks like: Awful red chrome. It's really even worse in person, looks cheap, feels cheap, flakes right out of the box.

Underneath is a bright, solid red plastic. Also, advice to anyone attempting this: follow the tutorial, and soak the parts in alcohol first (basic 91% rubbing alcohol works fine), and then strip the chrome. It'll speed up the process dramatically with much better results.

 

Saw you also sliced off the winglet tips. Does look much better after those changes. I'll also follow your advice as soon as I get one.
