If humans are able to develop man-made transformers, why didn't an advanced race of beings like Cybertronians done it already? Especially with the Decipticson, why didn't they manufacture their own army instead of relying on the cube?

They probably never had the raw materials nor unconditional workers like us on Earth. Whenever you watch the final battles with the random henchmen, do you really think they are 100% competent, I feel like they are just mindless..... What for it..... Robots...:rock :bay

They did create their own army. The hatchlings are that creation. Only they still need to grow and live off energon. The AllSpark just created new TFs that were not hatchlings.

The robots that the cube made were mindless assholes... So I doubt they would listen to anyone!

The "hatchlings" needed energon, but the Deceptions were running low on it, that's why they needed the matrix for the sun harvester, so they could use it for more energon for themselves aswell as the "hatchlings".

    I've thought about this, but:
    1) They KINDA did, but it was merely to create modern vehicles as they mentioned.
    2) I doubt they had thought of that
    3) Lack of materials/ technology; tech was probably not as advanced untill post DOTM

Well I don't really see a need for the decepticons to build more robots they already have a huge army scattered around earth and the hatchlings were an attempt at making more robots they just needed energon. Of course we still don't know how the human transformers are alive.

Something has given them a spark ;)  And we know it's not Optimus and his Matrix.

The hatchlings are derived from a natural-non artificial process.

btw, I love your stop motions. :thumb sup:

    They had medics and scientists.

As of right now, we know that humans are making drones that need to be remote controlled. Yes, its been rumored that Galvatron and the rest gain sentience, but we don't know the process.

In ROTF, we saw Starscream trying to create new Cybertronians but they were not surviving. They needed energon. It appeared as though The Fallen was attempting to assist with that by siphoning off his energon into the pods (this is an assumption, the film does not confirm this) but even a demi-god was insufficient to create new life. At least, no for long.

We also do not know where all the Decepticons who showed up in DOTM came from. I mean, yes, they were on the moon but they couldn't have been there the whole time. Otherwise, why not come to Earth sooner, like when Megatron /the Allspark was found, or when The Fallen emerged? Had the Cons invaded Earth in full force, the planet would have fallen and hard.

So either those Cons were summoned only once it was time to invade from the Moon, or they were recently bred hatchlings, supplied from a new source of energon.

Or, this whole franchise is littered with plot holes and at this point, we can either give up or just go with it.

Humans in this universe are superior to Cybertronians...they just lack the time to be techologically advanced.

Or it'll probably be revealed in the 6th film that Cybertron IS Earth, from 5,000,000 years from now. There's still that tiny instinct within each Cybertronian to return home...afterall, we are more than meets the eye.

I think humans reverse engineered the cybertronian biology but developed the new generation with a little 'help' From a artifact which bears the same power. o possessed. By allspark therefore the matrix

I feel like people tend to overstate how advanced Cybertronians are. Just because they're biological robots doesn't mean they completely understand how robots work. That's like saying you can ask any guy on the street how his brain works. Hell man scientists that have been studying the damn thing for centuries still don't understand it.

Biology is not something you can break down into simple explanations and think you have a complete grasp of. That goes for the Transformers as well.

    Uh, they did, remember? Hatchlings.

Most Decepticons are generi-drones anyhow. A lot of them probably are "artificial."

So? They're still mass-produced soldiers. That just means they have more advanced methods of making them. It's just more efficient than building them.

If you have Energon. Would you consider a human soldier grown in a tube to be "natural?"

It was probably easier for Slipstream (are there any other female 'Cons?) to get railed by a shit ton of Cons and spew out Decepticon fetus after Decpeticon fetus like an infant Gatling Gun made of robot vagina.

My place in hell is set.
