I already got both the rerelease and the KO on preorder. I am kinda bummed that the KO might get nixxed. I did send d4 an email relaying tightened joints/ratchets and they said they would pass it on to the devs. Can't hold it against Flame Toys for protecting their property though.

 

Shut them down!!! I too have a preorder on the real thing.

 

I will say I hope they can avoid shut down. If they can somehow force Flame Toys to move towards a few ratchets, it wouldn't be a bad thing.

 

I am somewhat ambivalent about ratchets especially if the spacing makes certain poses impossible or hard to achieve. What Flame Toys need to do at that price point is make the tolerance perfect and last 10 years (if it gets played with every day).

unless they have the full backing of hasbro i'm not sure how they are going to go after them it's not as if flame toys are a huge toy making company , sounds more like scare tactics

 

Hopefully this company is being supported by people on the weibo. I would but I don’t know how tf to even get started there.

 

Flametoys is the same company as Sentinel, which is a very big Chinease-based manufacturer. (also thousand toy, union creative, and many sub-brand)

They are basically Chinese company with Japanese designer.

Sentinel get 3KOed already ( Ryujinmaru, Dancouga) I think they won't allow the third one.

sounds like scare tactics get it right ! time will tell , it has already been pointed out they have had 2 of their products ko'd already if they couldn't stop those they will not be able to stop this

just because you have money invested in their reissue no need to get aggy

 

Wonder if they’ll do the same thing MP KO’s do and just silently make and release it to avoid detection.
