precisely my point. I guess I should have rephrased it to be more of a statement instead of a question. Nothing really differentiates the two releases besides the paint and the minor crack in the windshield. I felt like they handled drift's recolor in a better way. Then again there really isn't many physical differences between the 2 primes. It'd still would have been cool if they came up w/ something

 

oh most definitely, the colours are very pleasing to the good ol' eyeholes don't get me wrong. It just feels too similar imo. Like an appropriate cracked faceplate (like you said) or a smirk/grin for the unmasked face would have been much more interesting than just the regular exclusive cybertronian axe, but purple. Still might put a PO on it since one of the local stores is selling him for a pretty decent price. But the deadline for POs is today and I'm unsure if I want to pay half a grand for a figure I technically already have. I can think of some pretty cool display options if I had him though so I'm pretty torn

 

I have megatron preordered. I don't think the store I bought from has it yet so it's just a waiting game until he arrives. It's just that for me, financially, would it be a wise decision to buy it because the aftermarket for flame toys products is crazy, and I've seen SG drifts being sold for just about under the price of the regular drift. So, especially since it's prime and those sell well, would it be smart for me to buy it now so I can sell it later for for 1.5x the price or smth. It's shattered glass colours so the risk would be higher but I'm not sure. Then again having him and then waiting for an opportunity to sell for a decent profit will be brutal because I have stuff(hot toys) currently sitting in my closet waiting for a buyer and I get tempted to open them for myself everyday LOL

not sure about the duty part, but glad you got the PO in. The axe is wonderful, although I much prefer the original exclusive's colours for the axe to this one's

 

Reacquired Optimus Prime... and (somehow) he’s awesome, but he just falls a little short of me wanting to keep him (especially when he’s half a grand). I think I’ll be letting him go, $450 shipped anywhere in the CONUS (complete, not the D4 edition; knees are a bit loose, as is common with these).



Also, don’t think I want to keep my D4 SG Prime PO, but I don’t want to cancel ANOTHER PO through D4 (I cancelled Megs), so I’m offering that up too. If someone would like to take over, I’ll take $10 off of MSRP with a down payment of $200. If this doesn’t go in about a week, I’ll just cancel... I love Threezero, but this line is not scratching my itch...

 

Bought this week Optimus from TFDirect for $475 shipped to Italy...I actually did already buy it elsewhere last year for a much better price but my order was canceled because it was sold out. It took 6 months for me to decide to give it another try, I hope everything goes well this time.
