Did they have any Power Rangers stuff on display? Dying to see an update on their Megazord model kit; the concept art looked so good.

The absolute style diarrhea is still this line's biggest drawback IMO. I don't think the individual models look bad at all, but it's so hard to get into them when only a few actually look like they at all go together on a display. Toon-ish Shockwave next to Ban's Windblade and that oddly chunky Soundwave just looks so disconnected.

Maybe that's why I've skipped so many. There's little gratification to collecting them other than just getting the one or two you want and not putting them anywhere near each other. Definitely tempted to get that Shockwave, though. Maybe I'll paint him in Action Master colours like I did my IDW Optimus.

There's clearly various "series" of styles going on; it's not as incoherent as you think. There's the Trigger models (Attack Mode Optimus/Nemesis, the Seekers, I think Devastator is too), IDW (Rodimus, Optimus, Megatron, Drift), G1/cartoon (Optimus, Shockwave), and horny (Windblade, Arcee, Blackarachnia).

Bumblebee and Soundwave I'm unsure about; I'd have to actually see but I think Bumblebee is also a Trigger design.

You saw them in person? Nice!

Could you tell if Rodimus' insanely big spoiler can be collapsed at all? He's a pretty great slightly stylized rendition of the MTMTE version except that damn spoiler just looks ridiculous.

I'm getting him either way, but I really hope it can be displayed in a way true to what that should look like.

So I'm not the only one that likes the BW leaders being called Primal instead of Prime!

That Rodimus, love that maroon-ish red. Really don’t want to get into the Kuro Kara Kuri line, but if they give him the older head I suppose I can make an expection.

In regards to the model kits: eh, these are becoming increasingly less interesting to me. I mean that Shockwave looks nice (although it almost looks like there is reuse of parts of the G1 Prime model kit) but they could have much much more with these.

Reeeeeaaaallly not into these at all, but that G1 Shockwave looks awesome.
I only have Megatron that I got from Hobby Lobby for cheap because i wanted to build something, and while I greatly dislike the aesthetics, the articulation is really well done. It wasn't a very fun build, and some of the armor is awful, but Shockwave looks less finicky and pure G1. Two wins in my book.

Seeing that most of these are model kits and stand alone figures, the style differences don't really bother me. This is more of a hobby line to me where you just pick and choose what you like and pass on the rest, so how they go together and look together on the shelf won't matter because they'll never all be on my shelf anyway.
