Looks like Strike Freedom
my takeaway from this is that Hasbro still care about the stealth bomber megs, which is a design I would love to see revisited.
Good lord I can’t wait to get this guy!
So damn cool!
I'm thinking a little more Hi-Nu than Strike Freedom, but eh, same shit.
Yeah...both hv big ass wings and a long rifle
I need someone to produce a wing kit for generation toys bomber megs now. That looks rad.
Keep going Flame Toys, I'm nearly there
Another $450 gone.
I hope there’s a model kit version of this!
It screams Gundam to me a little.
Yeah, I was just thinking the same as I turn and look over to mine, saying "You'll get your wings someday little buddy".
Yup, I had the exact same thought. Looks WAY too much like Freedom or Strike Freedom gundam. Even the segmentation of the clear purple to the solid part is pretty damn close. Yeah it's nice but...... so un-transformers-like
Flame Toys like to design gundam-esque mechs
I really wanna see more pictures of this guy without the backpack
The segmentation of the "wings" is identical to how his arm-mounted railgun works. As I said earlier, I'm pretty sure that each "feather"/vane is a duplicate of his railgun components, so now he's carrying around multiples. Probably up to you to imagine how that'd work in action.
At the most conservative, you could pretend that his railgun weapon is extremely powerful, but fragile and burns out easily, so he carries multiples. Or maybe they function like the GN Sword Bits on the Gundam 00 Qan[T], remotely operated bladed weapons that create his more powerful railgun when directly mounted to his arm. Or at the most powerful, maybe they're like the Fin Funnels on the Nu Gundam, and each pair of winglets can become their own remote railgun drone.
Flame toys posted a new pic of Megatron on their facebook page.
Pre-orders will open March 16, 12 PM HK time.
Wow! Haven’t seen the alt-face. Looks amazing.
Wonder what’s gonna be PO exclusive?
