Another picture from their IG
I know BBTS has this estimated to release this month, but TFSource has it for January. I really wish we could get a better launch window.
I want this to be a model kit.
Boo, no pinky sticking out while holding the gun. How etiquette-less of Megatron.
Could someone pop the picture links/thumbnail to the front page please?
I want a figure that looks exactly like this and transforms. That's not too much to ask, right?
That is impressive. Extreme in all the right ways.
Depends. Getting a clean alt from that bodyline may be a nightmare of shifting parts. You down for that?
Why does Megatron have a guitar case sniper rifle. This is an oddly specific detail, for someone who has the most powerful weapon in Transformers Lore normally strapped to his arm....and in this case should be a Railgun? Just curious.
What justifies this being 4x times more expensive than say Rioter despotron?? they are both well-articulated, both have moulded detail. The former actually transformers. This thing has more paint. That's an awful lot of money for some extra paint.
Not going to lie, as someone that is from the Transformers should transform camp, these Flame Toys figures are slowly growing on me. They really are a dynamic looking robot.
They look awesome. Especially the bunch designed by Akira Amemiya of Studio TRIGGER. A lot of the animators(including one of the founders) are dedicated Transformers fans, check them out. Now, on the topic of this Megatron....Looks fucking awesome. Flame Toys could not have done any better.
Yeah, the only thing stopping me from getting the Star Saber and Victory Leo is the price tag. That piece is just absolutely magnificent looking.
It's weird, I actually really like the test shot color
Someone should buy this and send it to Don Figueroa
That’s sooner than expected, but he’s paid for and his shelf is ready. Can’t wait to get him in hand.
The licence and the belief that some members of the TF community (however small), will pay. In fact, it's probably the expected, smaller demand that might be partly for the increase in price (similar, to me, in how the current official MP line has alienated the majority of previous fans and concentrated on a smaller group of hardcore "toon" fans, and increased the price to match).
I agree. It reminded me of some sort of Universe/Fox Kids/Halloween Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron.
While expensive, when you have these in hand you can see why. Extremely high end figures with a ton of attention to detail, awesome engineering features, and fantastic accessories.
...all I want is the gun. Is that bad?
