Meanwhile Amazon is MIA and the product page says “temporarily out of stock, will deliver when available”, which means on Thursday when he was supposed to get here I’ll get an email stating “would you like to keep your order? We won’t deliver on time.... yada yada...”. I just want him in hand yesterday.

I will break my non-transforming rule if this gets a Nemesis repaint.

That is potential. Or maybe a Shattered Glass one since that’s what they did with Drift.

Seriously looks like Cybertron and G1 Optimus Prime fused together.

If only there's no ThreeA Optimus Prime, I probably would have gotten in on this.

But now I can't fathom why this is like 400 plus.

This is coming from someone who owns and adores Flame Toys SG Drift.

Very much this on the price.

I have MP-44, Flame Toys Prime and the 3A Prime and he clearly beats them in like everything! And that´s for just half the price.
I´m still going to support FLame Toys but i will probably stop after the Megatron.

Yeah, it's crazy how great the DLX line is for the price.

My Flame Toys Prime Showed up yesterday, he's definitely a figure that will stay in the collection long after other pieces have been sold off.

Are the knees of your figure also like super loose ?
Not really in a bad way even but they move way to easy. Don´t really like it.

Yes. I don't think it's too much of an issue but the knees are a lot looser than
the knees on Tarn, Starsaber and Drift.

I think it's intentional, as they move very smoothly rather than the way that Drift, Tarn, and Star Saber's do.

It's not loose as a dangling or flopping about thing, just they move very smoothly unlike the stiff ones of the other 3.

I see it as a plus.

So happy that my Prime has just arrived. I'd agree with PoweredConvoy, the knees are more smooth, rather than loose. The way all the parts just move as you bend the joints feels very impressive in hand.

Sizewise he feels a little bit smaller than I was expecting. It might just be that he's not as bulky as Tarn or Starsabre, he's around the same height as them, just not as broad.

The one small downside is that this is the first Flame Toys figure that hasn't come with the batteries already installed. Tarn, both Drifts and Star Saber all had the batteries in and just needed the plastic tab removing. It looks like it needs 2x LR41 for each leg, then 3x LR41 for the chest/head. Thank Prime I can get some delivered tomorrow so I can get a full group shot of them all lit up together.

Mine were not installed but in a bag inside the box underneath the display base. Might double check before buying some, not that having extra batteries is ever a bad thing.

The battery issue might be Asia vs U.S.

My U.S. SG Drift didn't have batteries installed, but my Asian release of Power Tarn, Star Saber, and Optimus had it installed already. My understanding is that U.S. must have battery shipped separately.

Is USAGundamStore legit? I placed an order with them, since they had OP as in-stock and they had him at a discounted $399.99 (with an additional 10% off, so, including taxes and shipping, he came out to $385.20). I was gonna pick him up at TFCon, but I figured no one would part with their exclusive version (with the large axe) for anywhere near the $550 that I’d be willing to pay, so I may as well get him for ~$64 off of regular retail.

Ordered SG Drift when it was discounted plus coupon. Didn't have any issue, came decently fast shipping all the way to the West Coast.
