@Digger, I actually do not need or care about this line. Reason why i have bought this line, is the pieces so far have looked fantastic. Personally, I like chrome/metallic paint, if I had known that this limited edition repaint would of been released, I would of waited. As far as Hastak exclusives, you are able to buy that figure without the special packaging or if you want that exclusive piece (random example, a $20 star wars figure issued at a con, you can find a few sellers that sell anywhere from $40 - $50, which is not that bad, with this piece, it's going to be at least $400, and those that buy it, will think it's a lost relic and ask $1,000+).

You could use Future, but I find amusing that we have to rely on a messy fix like that when we shouldn't have to... This figure should have come with ratchets.

I guess this company just works differently. They don’t work directly with Hasbro and don’t have the same rule and regimen. If someone was more experienced in action figure exclusives they could explain why this happens. I only have basic assumptions.

Beautiful. I doubt I'll ever afford/justify buying one but these things are more desirable to me than many of the (also prohibitively expensive) transforming Masterpiece figures. The sculpt, materials, detailing, paint, articulation and presence is of the chart.

Agreed. If I just lived off every these figures only I’d be happy. But it may never happen. But I’m good with what I do buy.

Well yes, you do care about this line because you're complaining about it. Also the fact you're complaining that you can't get the burst version means that to yourself, you need it as well.

Not knowing about a different version being released? That's on you. How many times has a Transformers figure get released only to get a different deco down the line? It happens all the time in the action figure industry. To blame Flame Toys for this and not every other company is......not right.

Rxclusives are fine as long as it's a cheap item? This line is Flame Toys premium head-liner line that draws the most attention; it would be a terribly poor business decision if they don't do something like it. Not happy that you can't access it? Well neither can I, in fact I live in Australia so factoring the poor exchange rate and shipping, I'd easily be paying a ridiculous amount more for it. There are many things in life where you can't get something you want, just gotta roll with it

Absolutely gorgeous. I can\'t afford it, but it does give me hope of an actual transforming toy getting made someday.

    Shiny.

Looking pretty cool, though admittedly I hope we see some kind of SG Tarn from Flame Toys.

It's fancy however I prefer the 'duller' colours on the standard release. Good for the people that can get him

I wanted to ask if anyone is having joint issues in terms of looseness? My Tarn is holding up pretty well but unfortunately Drift is starting to become quite loose after mostly just being in a basic still position. I bought Star Saber but with the 3A starting to satiate my high quality TF figure needs at a half the cost, the increasing price of the Kura line and this QC issue (also have a weak LED connection on a Tarn leg light) I'm likely going to bail from the line if I can't maintain the figures over time. I'm hoping that there's a way to increase tightness but I can't see anything that indicates easy access to the thigh or arm joints. Hopefully someone here has been able to do a bit of modding or surgery to improve tightness but not even sure if anyone is experiencing it much either.

For what it's worth, with the all the talk about the joints loosening up, I took my Tarn off the shelf and tested out all his joints. Despite him standing there with his cannon arm raised for the better part of a year, his joints are still sturdy, as good as the day he got unboxed. Thigh swivels are looser than I'd prefer, though, but they've always been that way.

same; I don't mess w/ mine a lot but do keep him in many 'arms parallel to ground' poses and he still holds poses like a champ.

Looking at the way I have him posed right now, it may have been that I used the shoulder joint to brace itself, without really thinking about it. I have his shoulder oriented so that the joint goes forward and to the side, rather than down and to the side. That means the shoulder doesn't have to support itself against gravity. Gravity is along the axis that the shoulder doesn't move.

Mine hasn't had any issues with the joints either. I had him posed in firing position with his right arm stretched out for months. No problems whatsoever.

On a different note, anyone here with the special version that includes the speakers? I wasn't able to get thay one, but would love to add some speakers to him, so I plan on making my own. If someone could give me some good photos and measurements that would be great!

For something as expensive as this, it would totally suck to get a loose version.
