Hey guys, just wondering if anyone is seeing a crazy shortage of Soundwave at all locations the figures have been released at. I hit Walmart, and I was suprised that amonst literally 200+ deluxes I only found 4 soundwaves. To be more specific, it opened at 6am and I waltzed in around 6:15 so I'm pretty damn sure I was the first to hit up the displays.

 

I had a TRU display with tons and tons of ROTF, but no rAnsack

 

Saw plenty of Soundwaves at the walmart I usually hit up.

 

yup it was all mostly bumblebee and soundwave at my walmart.

 

Soundwave is part of the Preview Wave. He'll be included as a repack in Wave 3. If you don't see him now, you'll see him once the movie hits.

Check Target. They seem to be carrying the Preview Wave, plus Wave 2 Voyagers.

Other than that, you might have to eBay the guy.

 

Sound wave is in stock at almost all the major retailer web sites. if your walmart didnt get him just do site to store shipping. Its not a shortpack its just different areas got different waves

I was there the whole time they were setting up the ROTF mod at walmart friday morning. Bumblebee came packed with the wave one deluxes. But no soundwave.

I'm going to go try target today. With any luck they will have superion out as well. That would be nice.

 

I went to Wal Mart and it seems like FAB Long Haul is pretty hard to get

 

He's Wave 2 or 3. He's not released yet.

All the stores I went to had Wave 1 and nothing but.

And, after seeing Jolt in person, I truly, truly hope the Deluxe version looks a hell of a lot better. Cuz, damn.

 

actually i saw him the other day at my local target and they also had Robot Replicas Skids and Jetfire too

 

At a Target I was at yesterday, they had tons (probably 30 each) Soundwave and BB and only like one non-Soundwave or BB deluxe.

 

I checked a Target and two Wal-Marts and didn't see Soundwave at all. No biggie, though. I'm sure he'll be around soon enough.

 

I've seen the Long Haul FAB at every major retailer I've been to.

 

They seem to be mixed up a bit, because there is some Wave 3/4 stuff out on shelves.

I haven't seen him at all in stores. My roommate and I went at midnight to Walmart last Friday and none. He searched all weekend and finally found three of them at a Target just over the river.

I'm not sure why he's so hard to find, especially since Preview BB is easy to find...

 

I picked up Soundwave. It's not that good of a figure. Ransack on the other hand is pure win. I have more fun with my Gravity Bots Bumblebee than Soundwave.

 

So did retailers just not order the preview wave in the US? Cause I've had no problems finding Soundwave (seen litterally dozens). Also he's not in a case of deluxes again until wave 3 revision 1. BB however is part of wave 2.

 

Preview BB ships in more case assortments than Soundwave. Of course the original idea was that Soundwave and Bumblebee would ship alone in a preview wave just like 2007's protoforms. But that didn't work out for the most part. So if stores were getting wave 1 cases, they'd get a couple BBs and one Soundwave among the rest of the figures and that's it. I'm willing to bet that Bumblebee is in other assortments in some decent number as well, but probably not Soundwave.

I could see retailers thinking back to the first movie line and the rows and rows of Protoforms that took forever to disappear from shelves, and saying "forget that, give us more of the REAL line instead!"

 

I went to walmert and target over 200 deluxes, no soundwave

 

Target is the place to go for soundwave (literally saw like 30 yesterday)and walmart for wave 2 on.
