Hello guys, I recently e-mailed Justitoys Inquiring about their WST Dinobots, And their reply was quite interesting:

As you can see, They were kind enough to oblige me and have provided me with the first images of the painted toys. What's interesting is the reference to "a lot of new toys." What other projects are they currently working on? They look nice, but I'm not too thrilled with how many times they've been delayed. It makes me glad my WST Grimlock is a KO. I don't think I'll buy anything they roll out unless it's insanely good, seeing that they'd rather bite off more than they can chew than take care of what needs taken care of.

If Swoop wasn't the cost of a Leader-class figure (give or take) I'd probably buy it, but I have no interest in owning all 5 of the Dinobots to warrant its purchase.

Very nice looking... blue-chested Swoop is interesting.. the only thing I hope is that they fix the accessory colors (make Swoop's launchers grey ad his sword red)... otherwise I'll def. pick these up...

 

dude a leader class figure costs twice what Swoop does. Even if you don't have the robot points, he's only the cost of an Ultra.

I don't think Swoop's sword will be red, as he's toon colors.

TFSource says $26 + $5 for shipping. So I exaggerated slightly. I'm just saying that I'd rather not pay $31 for a 3-inch tall figure. Yes, people do it all the time, but it isn't my thing. I might bite for half that, but not where it stands now.

toon colors? TOON COLORS?
What is so horrible about a swoop homage being in the 1985 G1 color scheme, huh? The blue torso was a diaclone thing. And yet homages today are diaclone/toon accurate! Energon Swoop did it, Animated Swoop is doing it, and now the WST Swoop..... all with the blue chest. Why can't they just make all dinobots match anymore like they used to? Either make them all gold/black/grey/red, or make them all gold/black/grey/blue, one or the other.

I can't wait.   If I can't get official reissues, these will do, plus I HAD to complete the set.

 

sludge is only $15, and swoop is $20. if you don't have the first four, and send in the robot points, then swoop is an additional $5.

 

Blue Swoop = instant buy. I hope he stays blue! I also hope his accessories are colored to compliment the blue.

 

Just like the others, swoop will probably be offered in red somewhere sometime. I've been holding off getting some of the rest due to their release schedules, now I'm glad to see the final dinobot. I wonder if anyone will e offering sets at a deal or even to go as far as to make an official boxed set from justtoys.

 

I love it! I don't have any of the WST Dinobots. It would be great if tfsource would be offer all of the WST Dinobots in one set.

 

I think that's b/c he comes with accessories for all the other ones. If I remember right, he comes with rocket launchers for all the other dinobots which is why he is $10 more than the others.

 

Awesome! I love the blue Swoop. Can't wait for these to FINALLY be released.

Other than the long wait, I'm glad I preordered them when they were first announced! 

 

Like I had said earlier, I have no interest in owning all 5 of them, making the $31 shipped for Swoop from TFSource even harder to justify.
