Have you seen Drift's new robot mode?

 

This pic is from the scene where hot rod drives up to where hopkins, cade, bee and cogman are talking. Hot rod transforms and tosses out haddock. She tries to run and hot rod goes to get her  and thats when u see this pic

 

I heard a long while ago that Hot Rod is supposed to have a French accent. Is it true or am I hearing things?

 

It's true,my friend.A thick French accent.

 

The description says "empowered", as in confident. Not "overpowering".

 

Once again, another name just stuck on a random robot.  I hate Bay...so very very much...

 

If anything empowering we've seen so far from TLK, it's likely out of the two female leads - Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock - Izzy's - in my view - will be the strongest. But I'm also willing to give Vivian a chance as well.

 

Dude I get you, but we have literally know way of knowing if that's true in this case.

 

That's clearly orange, as is the render at the top of the page.

Granted they're not the exact same shade, but that could be due to any number of reasons.

 

Is he gonna be a Truck when he turns to Rodimus?

 

I think some people are getting way over hyped over Hot Rod. He'll be the background character that'll have maybe one cool scene. Like Crosshairs and Sideswipe and Drift and every other cool car character.

He's really not going to do anything, hell he doesn't even have a proper mainline toy his toys will be either one steps or store exclusives.

 

Judging from the events of ROTF... If and when he gets the Matrix he will turn into a sock drawer.

 

No, because Hasbro's building up Bumblebee to take over as Prime.

 

I guess I can see how they took design queues from the original Hot Rod, but at the same time it manages to look nothing like Hot Rod.

 

Least he has decent vehicle kibble, front of the car is the chest and i'm sure that's a wheel on his elbow

 

Oh so Vivian is probably either a headmaster or another Quintessa. Sure, why make this movie about the Transformers or anything.

I thought we got over the Bayformers looking nothing like the original character designs after the first movie?

 

How do we know that the reason why we haven't seen a toy of him yet is because his character has a major spoiler thing going on and that they didn't want to have it revealed before the movie is out? It was the same case with DOTM Soundwave's toy not being revealed till after the movie was released so it can be the same here. Also Hot Rod is a major character in the brand so I doubt he'll be in the same position as was Mirage/Dino was.

Also I can't really see how Crosshairs and Drift have the same amount of screentime as Sideswipe because if anything they both have a lot more screentime and personality in comparison.

 

It'll be a sock drawer with fire spewing exhaust pipes, a metallic paint job, and socks filled with green transformers slime.

 

He looks cool.

 

No offense, I don't think a character with a French accent is going to be the leader of the Autobots.
