http://rss.warnerbros.com/watchmen/2008/03/one_year_to_go_1.html Comedian and Rorschach are closest to the comic versions. Nite Owl and Ozymandias will take some getting used to, but they're not too bad. I'd need to see a better pic of Silk Spectre, where her hair isn't covering most of the costume, and she's not in such a silly pose.
I have no idea who these Watchmen are but is this Nightowl fella supposed to look like a lame Batman?
I for one love the costume designs. Maybe a little too Joel Schumacher-esque on Ozy and Owl, but the others are sweet.

Man, the GN has been sitting on my dresser for months. I gotta get to reading that thing soon. Those pics look great BTW
The comedian looks absolutely perfect. Same for Rorschach. Ozymandias is probably the worst but really not that bad. I actually like the costume for the Nite Owl more then the comic book version. I thought Silk Spectre's hair was supposed to be black??
I like them. Ozymandias really does fit the character IMO; very majestic looking. And I love how Comedian even looks like an asshole in stills! Go read it now. For the love of God, go read it now.
After seeing 300 I don’t doubt this is going to e a good looking movie. My concern is how they adapt the story, if they screw it up that’s where they will do it.
Actually I think they all look good, while a few are not exactly comic perfect, I think they look quite appropriate. Still thinking if my current plans for a Cobra Viper costume don't pan out for Halloween this year I may end up doing Rorschach. Can't wait for this movie.
There was a GREAT Rorschach at the mac eng halloween pub last year. Only me and three other people recognised him, but man it was awesome. I don't like Ozymandias. Too dark. He should be more shiny and ostentatious. Nite Owl I like. The Comedian I LOVE.
Doctor Manhattan. He didn't get blown up in an atomic explosion and then reconstitute himself as a god among men for you to call him "mister." First, go read Watchmen. Now. Second, like all of the Watchmen characters, he's based off of a Charlton Comics character. In this case, Blue Beetle. Not sure if I really like the costumes. I'm used to the way they look in the actual comics - generally quite loose and cheap, not sleek and high tech like this. Nite Owl and Ozymandias are really going to take some getting used to. Comedian and Rorschach look pitch perfect, though. The Silk Spectre picture is terrible for seeing the costume, all that hair is blocking most of it.
What?? The ending was the best part! <spoiler> "You think I would tell you the details of my plan if there were any chance of you effecting the outcome? I already did it 35 minutes ago." The anger, the despair, the hopelessness and the ultimate realisation that Ozymandias was right all along, it's the greatest moment in comic books. </spoiler>
The costumes look pretty good. I honestly couldn't care either way. While i like the Watchman original work, I just can't get the same fangasms that many get over it (I know I know its a comic blasphemy to say this). Though I will definitely check it out in the theater.
