I wouldn't form too many conclusions about what the characters look like based on a super blurry and pixilated product standee. Think it's still way too early to deduce stuff like whether Mirage looks like Jazz or has door wings. It's fun to try and decipher what the designs might look like, but we still can't really see enough to know for sure.

 

Kinda yeah, it is still blurry to not make final judgments but we do get sime idea about how some of them will look or where parts might be like the doors.

I feel like this kiosk is something we\'ll see at Walmart here in the states but not at Target maybe at Macy\'s now that they have Toys R Us inside them.

 

Definitely walmart, i remember finding one for the bumblebee movie 4 years ago. It only lasted 2 days....

optimus Primal does seem to be here. If the beast wars characters are here- I kind of suspect air razor might be in their somewhere since she seems to be from the first wave of toys.

I'm just afraid non TF folks will address Mirage as "the Blue Porsche Bumblebee" and Wheeljack as "the red VW Bus Bumblebee"  

Well now that I've been shown, I'm 100% sure Mirage has the Classic Prowl Front of the car as chest, door wings and wheels on his shoulders, which I find super lame. Final judgement will be reserved though. Maybe the narrative will have most Autobot cars as actual brothers / formed from the same protoforms. I just wish he'd been more unique in his Design *sigh*

Basically Musco Transformers in Peru said on their site that there will be reveals each week leading up to December. Could have been a translation error. But intentional or not we have been getting ROTB leaks each week.

 

True - and I wish that some of the figures in the 80s looked more like their TV counterparts. Can you imagine how things would have turned out if there was MP-level engineering back then?

Also, the concern about non-TF folks addressing things in that manner is valid, given the last 15 years, and especially considering certain individuals who are still involved to this day. I will never forgot how one of the Entertainment Tonight reporters (Rocsi Diaz) literally called the Autobot symbol, "The Optimus Prime symbol" years ago. That's like calling the Avengers symbol, "The Tony Stark symbol".   . The concept of the educated consumer has largely disappeared, too, which IMO compounds the problem. We'll see how things finally turn out.

 

I highly doubt if they call the characters anything they'd call them "Bumblebee" for some reason. They'll just say if they don't know their names the VW bus or the Porshe character.

Probably just a rumor spread through word of mouth. Happens all the time with these things when people are hyped up on something.
