Jesus.. I love that it has a stand but.. holy fuck that satellite's rough.. Love the robot though and it looks like there's plenty of wiggle room to fanmode a better satellite. Love his drybrushing though. Not a fan of Sentinel as a whole but he looks accurate, hope his fans enjoy the figure.

 

There's definitely some of that turn-inside-out magic happening with Sentinel. I think he transforms backwards, the whole front of the vehicle mode buried inside his torso with the windshield facing backwards.

 

Hahahah Soundwave is terrible

 

Soundwave looks weak, Sentinel on the other hand seems excellent. I Hope they include the gun or the shield at least.

 

Satellite looks better than I thought. Too bad no Ravage.

 

So is it just me or does Soundwave look like a heavy retool of his DOTM SS toy? His arms (minus the satellite kibble) and upper legs look really similar. Nonetheless, he looks great. Really love the detail on Sentinel, even going so far as to include the wire that was on his chest and those spinning things behind his chest windows

 

They share some parts because it's the same guy, but the rest is original

 

That Sentinel is pretty tempting, just some ankle movement would make it perfect.

 

Soundwave is... a figure, but Sentinel looks incredible. He's probably one of the best looking voyagers of the line so far.

I dig Soundwave if because he was so fuckin' weird in ROTF. I was never too excited about Sentinel Prime so this voyager will have to knock my socks off in hand for me to bother with a buy.

 

So no Ravage?  

 

Apparently not.

But I have a funny feeling he will actually be included with Skipjack. Just a hunch.

 

Well this is still just the render. We may see the physical Ravage on display today. Hopefully

 

Unless it turns out to be the worst transformation in history, I can't imagine being any happier with the way Sentinal turned out.

Yikes, that Soundwave though. :/
His alt mode is basically a really, really, REALLY overexaggerated RVD jumping split.

 

I like them both. Sentinel looks amazing and I love that Soundwave comes with a stand to go with his adorably doofy design. I do hope he comes with a Ravage but honestly, I still have my HFTD Ravage so it isn’t the end of the world for me if he doesn’t.

 

Sentinel Prime looks perfect, though it may looks like he only comes with the sword which is a bummer. Sculpture detail is on point though lack a bit of paint in some area, Day 1 purchase for me since I missed out the leader class version back in the day. Overall for Sentinel Prime is a tick for me.
As for Soundwave, that satellite mode looks like he is ready to combine with another bot, that moment when the revenge of the fallen version that came out 10 years ago looks better. Looks like I have to give this a pass for now.

 

Now having seen Sentinel's vehicle mode I'm even more pumped. This may even turn out to be a flat out better toy than the DOTM leader. Damn that's impressive.

The transformation looks like it might be interesting as well. I hope they have a physical toy on display later so we can see more angles. It's exactly what I was hoping for from a SS Sentinel so far.

 

So after some close analysis, this is where the sword will go in vehicle mode.

 

These are legitimately the only bits of Soundwave in the Foundation comic so there isn’t really a good look at it. There are some similarities with this ROTF Soundwave figure but that’s mostly due to the figure reusing parts.
