Yup, and I guess that Takara designers and engineers had almost 99% input design wise on this new MP Movie Prime figure and Hasbro just handled the marketing aspect...

And that's a given that the stock picture used on the box is most likely Takara's version. Duh.

 

It looks pretty good but seems like the kibble hanging off the outside back is either mis transformed or out of budget.

Yeah, completely new mold, and I've never disagreed with that.

 

So I'm in and out of this thread since I'm still at work. Has it been confirmed how big he really is yet? I assume he's smaller than Leader class, but can't guesstimate by how much.

Yeah, this looks pretty different, considering it's the same bot at the same scale. It's reminding me of how much I DON'T miss electronics in my figures, too, as this guy can unfold more and carry better proportions in bot mode, and I don't have to worry about his electronics going off when I don't want them to.

PS: How does it feel to be the President, Mr. Valetine?  

 

The limbs look perfect, but they really dropped the ball on the torso between the wired (mistransformed?) back kibble and the not-quite-arranged-correctly chest pieces.

 

I imagine the toy will be impressive, but it would suck if the second gun for Prime is one of those pre-order bonus accessories.

Oh god, just looking at this picture makes me wonder how people are complaining when this new mold makes ROTF Prime look like a blocky mess. Literally the only thing worse on the MPM Prime is the slightly larger chest.
