Is that official MP-10 or KBB MP10V?

 

Looks like official yoth mp-10 that’s been customised a little. Mp-10 is a little shorter than mpm-04

I haven't opened my official MP-10 for 5 years.
Seems I'm lost at scale a bit.
And the MPM-4 sometimes playing (Genjutsu / Jedi Mind) scale tricks on my eyes.
The MPM-4 Compressed Box probably the culprit.

 

Agreed! I love my MP-10, but the MPM-04 had some really neat tricks that really shows how far they have come.

You are correct! I didn't like the gold chrome, but I liked the dark colors and it was affordable.

 

So whats the difference between the hasbro and the Takara release?

I finally bit the bullet and ordered this one. I should be getting it at the end of the week. I haven't seen much about these sets so I'll post some pictures when I get it. Looking forward to getting it. Between that and the mods I'm doing (i'm just slowly shaving down some tabs to help with vehicle mode, being REALLY conservative) I think this may be the final movie OP I get for a while.

 

I Just found out about the Mr. bucket upgrade set, so MR01 would be better suited for Hasbro and MR01B for Takara?

 

Wow, I didn't realize that MPM-4 was that much taller than MP-10. 

 

He has his hips extended for more height.

I think the extended hips are the "correct way" to put the robot mode, the blue pieces of the thighs shouldn't be closer to the ones of the waist.

 

In my latest check of the item number at TRU the customer service rep told me it's been marked as discontinued in their system. He never showed up in any appreciable numbers in the greater LA area.

 

I don't extend the hips on mine but even so, he is still taller than MP-10 by at least 1.5 cm

 

It's pictures like these which make me appreciate and really highlight the aesthetics of Movie Prime. His form flows really naturally despite what some may call his scrapyard appearance.

 

I'm still hoping on some reprolabels for this guy. I would really like a non paint option for the missing color on the underside of his arms and the back of his legs.

 

Wow just got this in and I thought it was packaged in bot mode but its in vehicle mode. And even from the factory nothing lines up  . Transformed it into bot mode and the blue panels on the outside of the legs don't seem to sit flush. Is that normal?
