Well, I mean the eta is in August, so I'm thinking that the figure that was just released was an unfinished copy by Hasbro Asia, but it wasn't approved by Takara, and they still have to make changes to the mold which is why we don't see it in a lot of ads, cause it's simply not ready yet

 

That's what I'm thinking.

 

I'll be honest, the vehicle mode issues, while disappointing, aren't deal breakers for me. It is nice to hear that this is a sort of pre-release rushed version for Hasbro Asia markets and may not reflect the final product that will be seen come September.

Also, does anyone else feel like this should be in a Reviews thread? I'm glad that I can find all the information in one place but this thread has gone from looking at the initial leaked renders to what is the (maybe near) final toy.

Anyways, the review scripting is about 70% done. Should be finished by tomorrow, then the filming will commence. If everything goes according to schedule, review should be out by this weekend.

What if this was the original design? Maybe they started production and someone realized the issue. They halted production to fix it for future releases. But, rather than eating the loss, Hasbro Asia went "We'll release it. We don't care!"

Hey actar what if you just removed the tabs from the forearms that don't tab in well to the windsheild. do you think it would sit flush then and stay together well. looks lik if they wont tab in might as well get rid of them.
