Well, I mean, to each his own. But consider this. The ROTF Leader Class figure aimed at kids made almost a decade ago holds together perfectly. A Masterpiece figure that costs 2 to 3 times aimed at adults has ill-fitting pegs and gaps - ones that are not present on the one on the box. On top of that, MPM Bumblebee is near-perfect.

Yeah, I don't think my demands or expectations are that unreasonable, especially after paying 200SGD for it. (^.^)

 

This isn't even an issue of just appearance (like I think the congregation has surrendered any hopes of seeing his lower chest bits painted and his blue stripe on the feet), it's a matter of the toy functioning as it should. If one can't even get its basic look to match the stock images, then there's something severely wrong with the product. As Actar mentioned too, those who buy into these figures have to be rich doges or scrape their pockets to even afford this thing. ROTF Prime, as bad as its reuses and mold degradation became, at least still pegged together at the cabin section iirc

 

My first transformation was hell. The instructions were so tiny. Likewise, i have problems tabbing the front of the vehicle and getting the smoke stacks' bottom to align as well. But ill toy with it more tmr. There are like 99999999 tabs. Just lying to myself that i might have left out something. But i do hope that i did. =\

 

Welcome to the world of Hasbro MPs,looked liked they tried to rush these out the door to coincide with the movie release. Hasbro has always had bad MP distribution. Being Takara hasn't even confirmed or stores aren't even soliciting pre-orders there's a good chance theirs will be able to tab together as they appear to be in no rush to put theirs out.

Well, i'm still buying it only for the amazing robot mode.
Rgardless, i expect another variant for him with nore paint and things (a DOTM one?).

Anyway, i hope the dotm remold isn't too far away.

But, HasTak really needs a more effective way to sell these, i really hope they'll make pre-orders for barricade in BBTS.

 

It's sort of a case of "innocent until proven guilty", but more accurately, "different until proven the same". There is no confirmation that the "Takara release" is different, yes. But there is likewise no confirmation that it will be the same. Probability aside, there's no harm in hoping that the "Takara release" will be better as long as the individuals don't get their hopes up too high.

Either takara or hasbro, or even both, but, honestly, if they give him all the acccessories he used in dotm, and they paint it in every place, i'm expecting some cost of at least 250$.

I'm honestly fine with the headlights, if they can make them to rotate, it'll be better for sure.


Anyway, the next cuple of years they need not only complete the 2007 cast of autobots, they should make ALL the decpticons, and display them in poses like these would be amazing.

 

I recall you being just as sure that stock/packaging image paint apps (such as the blue foot loops) would be present on the final version.  

 

That was a possibility though, never was sure.

It was released so fast and early than it should be.

 

Every single pose will most probably be poseable[possible](HAH GEDDIT?) except that bumblebee (2nd photo) posing like he's about to slide into your DMs
