Holy shit, the first time i've ever hold the MPM bee and it was tiny for me, in fact, this is a funny history....

I stopped collecting transformers in 2013-2014 because the AOE and beast hunters lines gave me a BAD and TERRIBLE feeling about the next and future lines from the brand, i was 0 INTERESTED in any MP or 3P.

In my perspective about being an entire fanboy from Transformers, i thought all the BAD things i did and knew in the past with a tons of friends from this fandom (most of them came from TFP), and as solution, it was better for me to leave, to add to the situation, we lost the interest and FAITH in the Transformers brand.

Unti..... i saw Devastator Titan class, i started to know about him,and for me, it looked like the best fricking thing in the franchise, and ONE THING I WANTED SINCE KID, but then, i for time again, re-entered to the groups i knew they talked and discussed about transformers, and i knew how much hate received that toy and the combiner wars line.

Dec-2016 was the first time i started to collect again Transformers toys, the first one i bought was BLurr, and holy moly, it was so SMALL in comparison with the toys from previous lines, i knew they started to be smaller since DOTM, but NOT THAT TINY.

And if barricade it's going to be that small, hoho, it's going to be so tiny, the best figures are the smaller and really well done ones. 14cm it's areally nice for barricade. IMO.

Cool, but do you have any evidence to the contrary? Because the two characters turn into cars that are almost the exact same size, only Barricade is much wider, has larger kibble pieces, and is constantly hunched. It stands to reason he should be shorter.

No, but you do look foolish. :p

Nope. But what evidence is there that he's smaller? We're all making guesstimates. If I'm actually wrong than I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Nothing foolish about venting displeasure. When all is said and done I'm going to get this anyways. Just like MPM-4 and eventually Peru Kill and UT's Prime and Hot Fire and enjoy all of them as long as quality holds up.... I say that even though I'm ok with MPM-4 and his questionable quality.

No guestimates, AE has his height listed as 14 CM.

Official movie height is what people are guessing.

Even at size, Bumblebee can fit into packaging designed for a 1/43 scaled car (and he does fit a lil bit askew into the actual acrylic part). So long as Barricade does not shrink down to actual 1/43 (size of the orange car), I can live with this scale. I feel like the priority is on robot mode, and it's a tradeoff I can live with since most past DLXs were designed to accompany one another in vehicle moreso

I have mine preordered through AE too. I expect this may be the first time in history that I may be more interested in alt mode than robot mode. I've said it a million times, but a Decepticon police cruiser is bad ass. Scary as hell, and I love it.

They went all out with Barricade. A minor nitpick as I would've preferred a bit more of the original metallic purple featured in his older toys over the prevalence of blue in bot mode, but I'm sure the color they want with is more accurate to the CGI given that they had access to the ILM CAD files.

Also, no sign of his partner Frenzy. That's a bummer.

I actually don't think it's a bummer, they can make a standalone MPM fenzy who transforms into a stereo cd :p .

What i'm sure it's one thing, this one got a more proper reveal and proper information about his design than bee nad prime, i mean, they used the actual CAD files from the movie to design this, why bee and prime didn't got this type of "love"?.

Who's to say they didn't use the CAD files for the other two as well?

    Omg yes.

Looks like you guys were right about the number of fingers! This figure obviously borrowed ideas from the HA figure with the back windows being the forearms and the bottom chest angling. The only thing that bugs me is the white part of the door looks kinda clunky on the arms.

Also the head isn't sunken in anymore! I'm so excited! No Frenzy though, which means some poor soul is getting a HA Barricade without him.

Oh!, no, what we meant by that is that they can be sold in a set, along with others, or just them.
