Does HasTak have an army of Oompah-loompahs at their beck and call? Huh, I didn't even notice Barry's hands sticking out the back of the car mode until you mentioned it. Looks like we have a less severe case of Voyager Starscream hand syndrome. Although given the orientation of his doors (unless the doors are on joints allowing them to be spun around 180 degrees), the hands might be oriented at the front of the car. If so, maybe those bits sticking out the back of the alt mode aren't hands, after all, but something else. It's unsightly, to be sure, but not a deal breaker for me at all.
I really hope he's mistransformed, that leg reminds me of his stupid deluxe DOTM toy, also why does he have 3 fingers (including his thumb) instead of 4?
Nice! They found a way to give us a cheaty chest what with the angled/collapsed collar front fascia and headlights. Really hope he has three fingers and a thumb on each hand, and that the perspective of the camera is obscuring the missing fingers (looking more closely, the fingers do appear to be obscured a bit so I believe they are there, phew). Also, now that the photo is clearer, it looks like those aren't his hands sticking out the back of the car mode, after all. Sweet, Barry has his wheel mace weapon! Getting two of him so he can dual wield (although I was planning on getting two of him and most every MP and MPM to display in both modes to begin with). And the head sculpt is looking pretty good!
Ironhide is welcomed news! I would rather have a new and improved Starscream than a VW Beetle Bee though. Looks like VW still wants to cash in on the Transformers money train, at least.
I wouldn't call it incontrovertible at this point, but it makes sense to get a MPM Beetle Bumblebee on shelves at the same time his movie hits theaters.
