Run away while you still can. Come back to this thread on March 10th.
How? By you ignoring the part of my post where clearly I said that Rodimus trailer didn't even have to be as big as OP's Trailer thus balancing things out???? Funny how you catch amnesia when the topic of how a lines overall budget can be divided amongst figures by Hasbro!
.....I think I can congratulate myself by exposing how desperate some of you feel about having to justify paying $50 for a trailer that'll likely sit in bin somewhere after less than a year anyway... Which I never gave a damn about in the first place. It's your $80 to do what you want with.
That doesn't mean my points aren't still legit. So it's a wrap talking to you. I am sure some HasTak personnel are glossing through this thread, so if HasTak if want all of our money and not just some of it more often than not, then I strongly suggest being wiser with how you create these figures. Especially in this current economies status.
I heard something about Rodimus having a motorized trailer with a light up disco ball inside of it...to light our darkest hour?
Hey, if it had that it would be well worth the price
Any chance this commander class could be a two pack? Rodimus and Galvatron? If they’re both voyager size and Rodimus has a trailer, it would be in the commander class price range.
Carry is great, but if this Rodimus is as good as the SS86 Hot Rod is, he might be knocked out of the top 3. Maybe.
Kingdom Rodimus is bigger than Haslab Unicron and shares engineering with World's Smallest Hot Rod. Also the trailer transforms into Judd Nelson. Price is $14000. Cash only.
It’s not listed as that according to the leaks. It also would’ve said on the solicitation that Loopaza got from Takara.
I have SS86 Hot Rod and he's great. But both MP's and Carry have much better looking alt modes. The alt mode is where the Studio Series struggled the most. If they can hit it out of the park with this new Commander class, it will be a different story.
No chance, galvatron is a seperate leader class release
Congratulations to 50 pages of hell and to more outrage to come in 7 days:
There is a G1 episode where someone goes to get into a vehicle that looks exactly like Rodimus Prime and it's a mass produced vehicle.
I think it can be inferred that "in the year 2005", most of the TFTM cast blended in with earth vehicles.
Ultra Magnus' look implies that 30 year old big rigs hauling car carriers with missiles was normal to see on a highway. He had to have an Earth mode with that cab.
Pretty sure the only one whose altmode was definitely Cybertronian was Kup. Well, Sandstorm would be too since he never reformatted.
Granted, if we take MTMTE in S1 literally, it seems like reformatting was only done to save their lives and was not normal. Later episodes show the conehead jets as Cybertronian designs in flashbacks and those modes are not based on real jets so...
Keeping it on topic: it's hard to say if Hot Rod had an earth mode although concept cars in the 80s looked very similar. But Rodimus Prime was a mass produced truck design on future earth, down to the flame decals.
Eh I've seen worse...Bring it on.
Lots of engineering and probably a vehicle mode big enough to carry at least core class figures that compresses to leader size. Doing a better Magnus that isn't just a scaled down MP or denser CW figure but one that manages to be Siege Magnus height while doubling as a carrier...
I think the best approach is to have the cab and 1/5th of the trailer form Ultra Magnus and the other 4/5ths of the trailer becomes a base or battle platform so you can simultaneously have a robot mode Cyclonus sized and a vehicle mode that can transport cars.
I hope will be a good model in the end.
I should point out... we can only hope we're getting the full reveal on 3/10
About a year ago, Takara's marketing guide, which this fuzzy photo is taken from (this Spring's issue, obviously), also had a bunch of dates in it for
the late wave Cyberverse guys that ended up all being inaccurate--dates were either postponed or the products never
even came out like the flip out armor guys including Rack n' Ruin.
So who knows, this may be an old rough date for a reveal that Hasbro has since scrapped or delayed,
but I am hoping for the best. As I said several times in the Kingdom thread, these companies need to do preorders
for a set amount of time before release to adjust their factory quantities and since this is 100% likely to be an August/Fall
retail release, they have to start preorders soon, as they're already cutting into the 4 month window.
i just want some robot cars that go pew pew
I just noticed something, for all the hate Hotrod gets, 50 pages already? And all we have is just a blurry image!
