Literally came here to ask the same thing. Got the chest figured out and the trailer I can get closed reliably, but even pushing the tire inside first and angling the black boot part perfectly, I feel like I am required to flex plastic to tuck the calve together and that feels incorrect.

 

I somehow feel like there is supposed to be a double hinge to allow it to clear, but for the life of me can’t get it to move.

 

I’m assuming it’s lower to accommodate the trailer opening seamlessly. IE: they wanted this pipes to move out of the way of the sides on there own to avoid potential ham hands breaking the toy.

 

I verified that the spoiler and the pipes can be removed from the trailer. There are glued pegs, but they pop free with a little force. I didn't have a chance to take pics, but the truck mode (in trailer) looks so much better with the spoiler moved forward some. It would look odd being near the middle of the car, though. Shame it can't slide up and down...

Easy fix if I were willing to modify the toy to make the spoiler attach with pegs in both spots, but I don't want to do that to an $80 toy.

 

Anyone knows what this black stuff is on the blast effects that came with my kingdom Rodimus?

 

I think it's paint from the smoke effects. Mine are also covered in little black dots. (but I toss effects parts in their own bin because they'll just eat away at anything else they touch)

Agreed. I think it's a bit of paint transfer from being factory packaged in the same bag as the smoke effects

Someone told me it could be mold growing on it. Should I be concerned about it?

 

I wouldn't worry

 

If it really concerns you that much, just throw it under some hot water for a second and wash it. But not bloody likely, unless you've got mold growing elsewhere in your home which should be a greater cause for concern.

 

I also noticed this slight paint blemish on his face.
Any way to fix this?

Jesus Murphy, I just checked on my effects parts container since I was chucking Rodimus' ones in there, and I forgot that I hastily threw them into the same bin as some of my extras (mostly weapons) and one of the small purple effects from Firebolt took paint off of Arcee's monument to failure hoverboard.

Gonna put all these effects in a ziploc bag. They're so not even worth the trouble.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I have the same issue. Check out TMan978's review at time stamp 7:25. He suggests that you have to flex the plastic a little bit to tuck the junk into the back of the calves...so I guess this is normal? I don't like the idea of flexing plastic for a transformation like this but it seems to be part of the design.
